West Virginia, Oregon, OH St...all are programs who are using the dual-threat qb...I'm not sure of many schools that are looking at boyd as the next premier drop-back passing qb. The kid could probably be molded into that but for one it would be a waste of his time and two, we already have 3 guys Kiffin is trying to mold into SEC qb's...not to mention he could have stayed committed, Kiffin honors the offer. It's Tajh that turned down UT not the other way around. So are we the only school that thinks he can't throw a football or is there other schools that think he is run first qb?

Crompton is good he just needs a good QB coach and you will see what he can do. He will turn heads in 09 trust me.[/QU i would love to see crompton turn it around and go out on a high note, but i think that ship has sailed.
I'm not sure what to think. Maybe with the embarassing season as motivation he can become possesed in the offseason and turn it around.
Then again, he was REALLY bad this year. If he really wants to play, he can prove if to this staff and get his chance. Everyone has a clean slate. I trust this staff to make the right decision at QB. I DID NOT trust our old staff to make that decision.
