People vote with their pocketbooks. As sad as this is, people don't tend to throw Presidents out of office for it. Plus, the next General Election isn't for another 3.5 years. If we were having an election this November, it could have some sort of impact. This is a terrible day. Thirteen dead and scores wounded. Not to mention the Afghan casualties.
And the Biden administration will likely be another casualty of this war. I don't see how they bounce back politically.
But it's disgusting so many people here seem to be celebrating this failure. Really, shameful.
Save your glee at the political consequences for later.

My God, mercenaries doing what our active duty military should have been doing for weeks who shouldn't have even been put in the position to not carry those missions out in the first place. This is just simply amazing and shows just what highly trained and motivated men can accomplish when the politicians GTF out of the way.
US special operations vets carry out daring mission to save Afghan allies
I think we kind of watched a US president have a panic attack on live TV.An analyst just said Biden was trying to do that Clint Eastwood quint reading the teleprompter.
Then the other one commented he put his head in his hands then tried to come with that George W. Bush tough talk without the credibility.
Good read. Does it make sense to give such detailed information in an article? I can't help but think this was done for a purpose. This is just simply amazing and shows just what highly trained and motivated men can accomplish when the politicians GTF out of the way.
