Hilarious. You used truth and Trump in the same paragraph as a reason to like Trump. The Dems are just as dislikable on many fronts but Trump was hated by 60% of the nation because he is a despicable human being, an abomination on all things decent and moral and crooked as as a snake. Other than that, he’s a fine fellow. Next subject.
Lol… you must not know very much about Sloppy Joe

The Look on The Faces of the US Soldiers was one I hadn't seen before... Seething Humiliation, writes ITV correspondent JOHN IRVINE

In the beginning, the American military campaign in Afghanistan was officially known as Operation Enduring Freedom. Lofty ideals and ambitions are inherent in such a title, but 20 years later they look hopelessly misplaced. As names go, it now reads like a tragically bad joke.

Afghanistan is today a graveyard of Western ideals that many Afghans had come to hold dear. Pictured: Troops in Kabul on August 26

Exhausted British soldiers get last UK flight out of Kabul as Boris claims Britain 'will return' to country - amid strain on relationship with Biden after 150 Brits and 1,000 Afghans were left behind

  • WARNING: Graphic images
The last remaining British troops have been evacuated from Afghanistan, bringing the UK's two decades of military involvement in the country to a close.

Video and pictures from inside military aircraft shared online by The Parachute Regiment and the Ministry of Defence last night showed exhausted British troops leaving Kabul.

As the evacuation effort came to a close, Boris Johnson pledged to return to Afghanistan when it is safe to do so. Some 150 Britons and more than 1,000 Afghans have been left behind.

Pakistani Military Opens Fire on Afghan Refugees at Border, Kills 6

***Warning — Graphic Content***

Pakistani troops opened fire on a group of Afghan civilians attempting to cross into Pakistan from Afghanistan on Friday, killing at least six people, Pajhwok Afghan News reported.

The incident reportedly occurred at the Torkham border crossing, a major trade and travel corridor linking Afghanistan and Pakistan. Torkham is the name of the Pakistani city on the eastern side of the border crossing, while the western side of the port pertains to the Afghan province of Nangarhar.

An unknown number of Pakistani soldiers “opened fire” on an unknown number of Afghan civilians at Torkham on August 27 “when they rushed towards the crossing gate and wanted to enter [the] Pakistani side,” according to Pajhwok Afghan News.

Experts Question Decision Not To Name ISIS Terrorists Killed in Afghanistan drone strike

The failure of the Biden administration to name the two Islamic State terrorists killed in a US drone strike in Afghanistan on Friday has led some experts to conclude they were not high-value targets.

In a press conference Saturday, Major Gen. William Taylor only referred to the dead targets as a "planner" and "facilitator," and would not say if they played specific roles in the airport suicide attack Thursday that killed 13 American soldiers and 169 Afghans. Islamic State Khorasan, or ISIS-K, was behind the attack.

"Normally if they get a high-profile guy they like to name him," retired US Army Lt. Col Brian F. Sullivan told The Post.

"They keep talking BS about ‘eyes over the horizon’ but I think a lot of this is the administration blowing more smoke," Sullivan added. "They’re throwing this up as if the US is reacting with strength and power. So that makes the score something like ISIS 200-US two. Who are they kidding?"

What happens with some of these Afghans that we are bringing over here by the 1,000's get pissed when they reflect on this mismanaged withdrawal that led to the killing of many of their relatives?

Will they love or hate the US and the infidels?

Called this shortly after. It's kind of funny how the admin thinks the American public are cartoonishly stupid. Of course we elected a dementia patient because of mean tweets so it is understandable

My problem with it is if they are worth spending that kind of time and resources on, fine but I want to see the receipt. Tell me who they were and why it matters that we did it. Otherwise all we've done is continue to perpetuate bad policy and earn more ill will in the area.
