The more I think about this the more I believe it come be true. Could this be some clever way of carrying out a large arms transfer that would wildly unpopular? There have to be other angles in missing too.

Happened in Benghazi....like the Arab Spring days.
We probably have (2) choices..the incompetance of typical DC (most likely plausible) or something more geopolitical like a hedge against Iran?
Just spitballing, but that outreach to the Taliban was either "weak" or planned

The truly pathetic part of this is that none of the Joint Chiefs had the balls to stand up to Biden and threaten to resign.
It seems to me, someone had to present this "strategy" to Biden as an option. Whoever that was, they need to be forced to resign immediately. Personally, I think they should be court-martialed, but that won't happen, so at least force them to retire. But I agree that it's ludicrous that the JCs just went along with this. Someone, some where along the line needed to step up and speak out on what a horrible strategy this was.

As far as treason goes, wouldnt arming a terrorist organization like the tailban with vehicles and weapons be grounds...??? Of course they'd have to prove it was intentional...

I don't think you can claim it was an "accident" when you leave 4 C-130s, a squadron of tanks and artillery, and a half a million machine guns.

The head of PETA said she has received calls from current and former employees of the U.S. State Department telling her that service and working dogs were abandoned in Afghanistan.

Said some of the dogs have been let loose onto the streets of Kabul. Said these dogs are companion dogs and have no survival skills.
