Especially since we left them well armed. I don't have any affinity to that part of the world and I hate to see the bloodbath that will happen there, but they're not like us, and we will never change their way of life and the brutality that they live by.

It's very likely Trump have done some things differently, different administrations usually do things a little differently. But more importantly, the Taliban probably would have been hesitant to rub our faces in it since Trump was kind of a loose cannon. I don't understand this narrative that's circulating that Trump signed a withdrawal agreement - so we had to do it in the most embarrassing way possible. I just don't see how that's going to fly with rational people.

You’ve made some valid points on why this would’ve happened no matter the difference in circumstances. Not gonna say you’re wrong. If there were no other ways that this could’ve or should’ve been done then this is a massive failure by the Administration of being honest with the American people on what would take place. If, If, this was the only option, Biden should’ve gone ahead and told us this was going to be messy and prepared everyone for why this has turned into. Because if you know this or so many others recognize what was actually gonna happen, I imagine the Station Chief in Kabul, the Directors in Langley and the Chiefs at the Pentagon all knew what the hell was happening. This was piss poor management by the Administration either by execution of withdrawal or management of expectations.
