"I don't care what the rest of the world thinks" and "Man, this looks bad and can be used by our enemies against us" are contradictory statements.
It wasn't just the rest of the world. For better or worse (worse IMO), Biden said, "I don't care what the Pentagon thinks, I'm getting us out now."

This is the commander Trump claimed he was, ("I know more than the generals"), but never acted on.

It’s funny the things y’all are scared of. Jump off cliffs about Covid but Islamic terrorism doesn’t move the needle

Maybe I'm more concerned with COVID than terrorists because I understand large numbers and statistically significant risks.

If you find the anecdotal convincing, I know multiple people that have been killed by COVID in 2 years of existence. I don't know anybody that's been killed by a terrorist, and I'm 39 years old.

Really? Where did you go see live music in spring/summer 2020? Where did you take vacations during same time? Everyone's life was impacted. If you don't think so, you're an imbecile

His comments were irrelevant to any of that. It's like you change the subject everytime you post. That said, my life did not change. My vacations were Ponte Vedra for spring break and 2 beach trips for the summers. Our family did all our usual stuff.

The discussion is about how badly Biden effed up this withdrawal. You, like others, want to pull Trump into the conversation. I get that, because there really is no defending Biden here.

The time will come again when they will do something big and heinous like 9/11 again. We are as vulnerable as ever to that sort of thing. It’s sad how short our memory is

That may be the case, but I'm not sure how much of the daily decision making Biden is actually involved in. I think there are people coaching this game from a skybox somewhere. The "coach" on the field is just wearing a headset and has a whistle around his neck for props.

Oh I agree.

We are in total OZ mode.

Oh... and the sad part about it is that not only is the POTUS not in control of things, but the VP is out of the loop, also.

Minnesota disagrees with that.

  • There are refugees all over the country and you have 1 city to counter the comprehensive data.
  • Do you even know that the troublemakers are refugees or are you just lumping them together with all immigrants? Probably the latter.
  • Minnesota's got all kinds of problems, not just the perceived problems with Muslim orthodoxy.

I’m sure our military knows who those people are (the people who helped us) so they should be able to distinguish between the two.
It would probably be a duty shared by our intelligence agencies, and as you know those agencies aren’t worth a whole lot

The Taliban knocked on her door 3 times. The fourth time, they killed her

(CNN)Najia was at home with her three young sons and daughter in a small village in northern Afghanistan when Taliban fighters knocked on their door.

Najia's daughter Manizha, 25, knew they were coming -- her mother had told her they'd done the same thing the previous three days, demanding that she cook food for up to 15 fighters.

"My mother told them, 'I am poor, how can I cook for you?'" said Manizha. "(The Taliban) started beating her. My mother collapsed and they hit her with their guns -- AK47s."

Manizha said she yelled at the fighters to stop. They paused for a moment before throwing a grenade into the next room and fleeing as the flames spread, she said. The mother-of-four died from the beating.

My biggest fear is a high level of DNC members are actually in control and using his aids as ambassadors for them. He is clearly being controlled by his aids so the question is who is controlling them?

I think Pelosi and Schumer know but it’s not them. I think AOC knows too which gives her leverage and is damn scary.

They weren't refugees.
I acknowledged that in my previous post. The idea is the same though, people who are appearing to come in peace that are coming here with the goal of killing us. Do you really think it would be that hard for a Taliban fighter to pretend to be a refugee?

One thing to add to our little back and forth @n_huffhines

Obama really didn't have a situation like this. The closest comparable scenario would have been ISIS marching on Baghdad which was stopped. The Benghazi situation really didn't have any "silver lining" events leading up to it; so, that was off the table.

This one is certainly unique.

One question that needs to be reported....Where are all the women at the airport? Hard to support someone who leaves their wife, daughters, sisters behind while trying to safe their own neck.

The men have to go first to make sure it's safe to leave.
