Biden had every latitude to modify the agreement however he deemed necessary so as to insure the withdrawal was orderly and organized. He chose not to do so. Thus he owns it 100%

The US supported the Mujahideen which may or may not have turned into the Taliban. It's semantics but not quite the same. Osama bin Laden turned against the US after the US was asked by the Saudi family to protect Saudi Arabia from Iraq and not the militias who kicked the Soviets out of Afghanistan. It is most likely those fighters who were loyal to Osama that became the Taliban.

A few of those loyal to UBL might have joined the Taliban but the vast majority of the Taliban were students/followers of Omar. Pakistan is responsible for the creation of the Taliban.
