I don't know, I think his dementia is rapidly getting worse. They're really having to work to disguise it. Anyone with half a brain cell can see it.

I can't speak to the bolded because I don't know anything about it. What I do know is everyone who was involved at an official capacity, minus the ones left to close shop, pulled out with or before the largest military contingent did.

Sounds like the State Department wasn't tracking what the Afghan government wanted or didn't coordinate with the military. The paperwork issues should have been expedited if they knew the pullout was going to be complete in August.

I think Biden's speech made sense. I also sympathize with the people there who feel betrayed. In hindsight I would have supported sustaining some troop levels, and do a gradual withdrawal to slow the Taliban offensive. I would not have said that before this fast collapse.

The president was clearly a terrible choice. Not surprised his background is in Universities and UN crap.

They'll pull a weekend at Bernie's if they have too. They want whoever replaces Harris to have the opportunity at 10 years in office. Plus I think it will take time to replace Harris, no ****ing way they let her get the big office.

You guys are delusional. This was a F up of epic proportions. You should listen to some of the interviews of past NSC members that have spoken out, some on Obama’s council. NOBODY could have done a worse job of this withdrawal if they tried. But keep pumping sunshine up your own @$$es.

I doubt either one. I really don't know who it would be. If I understand the process correctly once Harris stepped down or is removed, Biden would nominate someone and the senate would confirm like a cabinet member. I think it would be a simple majority vote for confirmation.

Maybe Kasich? I kid but not really....
