Talked to Bray just now. Said he's declaring.

I was ready for Bray to leave earlier in the season. He just gets down so easily. Its pathetic to watch.

CP by all accounts isn't and hasnt been going to class. No surprise.

I go back and forth with Hunter. He could be good, but he doesn't like contact. I see lots of WR in the nfl not liking contact. They go down if they see a hit coming. Its not that uncommon. I'd love to see him back, but I think he probably will leave.

I'm going to hold back praise and jumping on this butch jones bandwagon. He said alot of nice energetic things in his presser. Name dropped Peyton Manning with the Colorado job. Name dropping Peyton will always get people smiling and liking you around UT if its apparent that he likes you. Is he going to save Tennessee football? I have no idea. Is he another Dooley? No, I don't think so. He actually seems to like people. I'm skeptical bc I don't think he was honest in telling all of us that this was his dream job. I feel that "if" saban, miles, richt, muschamp, all left for whatever reason and he was contacted for one of those jobs, he would most def listen.

Again, its alot of coach speak and considering what these last few years have given us, I'm in wait and see mode. Kinda like Hart seemed to be.:ermm:

I think we lose two things with the big 3 leaving: SEC experience and elite vertical game.

That being said, I think the new offensive schemes coupled with our returning and/ or new athletes will more than make up for their departure. Q, Pig, Croom, Bowles, etc. will do just fine...

I always felt that Da'Rick Rogers was a bad influence on Tyler Bray, but don't see knocking the guy like some of our "fans." Personally, I think Bray should stay, that he is ready to take his game to a higher level, which is what he needs to do by playing in the SEC. Minus the occasional mental letdown, he really is a great quarterback. Yes, he would be drafted if he chose to go, but QBs need every minute of preparation possible to be successful in the NFL. If he stays, there will be quality competition for the starting job; it's not a gimme. If Bray learns through that, which he can, then I like his chances in the league. He will probably choose to go. If so, we should all wish him success with good luck.

probably best for them and best for Tennessee football.

Bray is a headcase... pro arm, middle school brain. He needed a strong coach to mature him, but he's beyond correction at this point, so it's better. Listening to Jone's presser, not sure Bray would care to be told what to do.

let them leave .Worley and Petterman are better fits for jones offesive needs . Next year we will need to run the ball early , but I believe DD left us with some good young wideouts and in good shape recruiting wise for our needs on offense .

Great. Now we can get a qb we can respect.

You know what this is a crap response. Best had Dookey's idiot azz to deal with for the past three years plus all kinds if criticism. Who blames him for leaving. Be a man about it and wish h well. Hopefully he will proudly represent UT in the pros

Going to make a bold prediction: he'll wind up having about as much success as every other UT quarterback drafted into the league since that one guy, i forgot his name but i think he plays for the broncos now.

You assume no one can improve, ever. Simply not the case. Bray could easilty mature by staying another year and develop into a great NFL prospect, much better than he is now. No one can predict the future, or what any individual will do. People are not static and unchanging, but constantly developing.

No more beer bottle extravaganza's...temper tantrums, squirting fans in the face with water bottles, yes he'll be missed.....oh no more interceptions either

Our players need to realize that much of the imbecility on this board comes from people who never attended the University of Tennessee...or any other university.

Do you not realize their are only a handful of players that get a chance to play qb ? We have had many players from every position to play in the nfl ! So to have maybe the best ever at the qb position should be praised not ridiculed .. Forget the prediction and support any player who has Tried to do his best . I wanted worley to play , Lets support the team ,players especially and remember they are only young men and they go out there to play for us and its not entirely their fault .We as a fan base have to be better ,we should be glad for them !!. Vol for Life ! :groupwave::

I agree w/u that alot of what people say sounds crazy ! But do i have to attend U.T. to be a fan ? I didnt understand that at all ? I would have loved to attend U.T. but life an circumstance made that impossible . I love U.T. and i have been a fan for 41 yrs and im only 50 . I cant argue or disagree with you on the imbecility of what people say here and it amazes me that people get so mad at the players !! anyway GBO .:peace2:

I'd be more concerned if Jujuan James, James Stone, and Alex Bullard left. Tennessee will be fine with either Worley or Peterman under center. This might also give us a better chance to land Asiantii Woulard.

On a side note, I wouldn't be surprised to see Sentimore, McCullers, and Couch all leave for the lure of 3rd-4th round NFL slotting.

Agreed !! This should be the top priority to keep the offense line and the defense lines together !! I also think we will be fine w/either of those 2qb's . I would love to see cp stay for my own but also think he could only help himself if he decided to stay 1 more year ! :victory:
