No one aside from shareholders are upset by boycotts. Boycott to your heart's content. Your reasoning can be viewed by others as valid or nonsensical, but either way.. have at it. I firmly believe in voting with your wallet.

A lot of crazies are taking it beyond that though. Bunch of videos posted recently of mentally unstable adults harassing customers, employees, taking products off the shelves and moving them to the back of the store, ranting and raving. The funny thing is that the videos posted are usually their own.. which means they think they look good throwing tantrums inside a target and getting escorted out. Tds = target derangement syndrome

Voting with your wallet? What do you think a boycott is? It is literally voting with your wallet and telling others to do the same. The harassing and vandalizing can gtfo. That's not how any of it should be done. But stand outside of Target with a sign and inform people of what Target values. Free market people should be ALL on board with that. Yet some of them think it is as bad as a corporations forcing vaccines on workers.

Advance Auto and Foot Locker are down over 40% in the past 2 weeks. Five Below, ULTA, and Dollar Tree are down by 15% in the same timeframe. TGT is down similarly

Is the consumer tapped out from the economy or is it the boycotts?

Again, I absolutely 100% agree you should vote with your wallet.

I think the obvious implication of this post is that you believe there is in fact a "secret conspiracy agenda to push LGBT messaging"; I just want you to give me a motive, a purpose for this coordinated operation that makes logical sense.

I don't have any internal communications that speculate the return on these marketing campaigns, so I can't provide that. If that is the evidence you need I think you're setting yourself up for nothing to change your mind. Occam's razor, business do things to try and make more money. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.

I'm saying that I'm fine with boycotts because I do believe in voting with your wallet. My contention was that you think free market capitalists are upset by someone choosing to vote with your wallet. Thinking someone's reasoning for boycotting is unreasonable does not mean you are against the idea of voting with your wallet. I can think someone voting for Trump, DeSantis or Biden is stupid and unreasonable but that doesn't mean I'm against the right to vote.

They are motivated by trying to develop relationships with younger (more socially liberal) customers. They are trying to do the same thing that Google, Apple, Amazon, etc have done extremely sucessfully so far.

Sometimes plans fail. Bud Light is paying that price now....

What's the motive for all the tech companies to do it? Their motive is basically just "because we can". It is monolithic ideology capture of an entire industry.

Tech companies do it for labor reasons and to develop relationships with early adopters (typically very socially liberal)....

Look at market cap of Apple, nvda, Google, msft, and Amzn. It's worked well for them

Target is basically a shell corporation for Big Transgender. Why else would the spend 2.1 million on pushing Trans agenda in schools? What does that have to do with selling dry goods?
