Teacher tells kids Santa isn’t real

On the opposite end of the spectrum, my 6 year old nephew doesn't believe in Santa because he's not in the bible. Yeah, my SIL is a bible thumping fruitcake.

And you didn't play up the Santa/Satan angle? You missed your chance to scar him for life.

I can't imagine working with 6 year olds and doing that... My two kids seriously doubted Santa at that age but still played along because it's fun (and they thought it meant more toys under the tree). My reaction to that would be tell the substitute teacher that it wasn't her place to do that and she should lighten up a bit. Childhood doesn't have to be cold, hard reality all of the time. They have their teenage years for that.

I'm going to sound like Schrodinger and say that I simultaneously agree with both sides. I can appreciate the honesty of the teacher however children should be able to have fun while they can.

If he is sitting around trying to move rocks with his mind, he may turn to the dark side when he figures out the truth.
I told him he couldn't begin training till 13. He is 8 now..I think he might figure it out....but he has started playing magic the gathering..might be no hope for him.

My kids figured it out early but didn't let on and rode that train as far as it'd take them. They knew if their mom found out - it'd mean less presents. I knew, they knew I knew but I wasn't going to throw their devilish scheme under the bus.

I looked in the mirror this morning and said "Damn, that town bike wife of 0nelilreb's looked better after a 12 pack."

You are trying way too hard to be clever , I’m betting it was a childhood trauma . What happened Uncle Bobby bounced you a few too many times on his lap at birthday party’s didn’t he ? How long was it before you realized you weren’t supposed to like it , or have you yet?

Little kids are smart. I think a lot of them play along with the Santa thing just because they like seeing their parents having so much fun with it.

Life failures? LOL.

I definitely double your income with half the hours, and I take orders from no one. Get at me, daddy issues. Get at me.
Everyone knows the tough guy isn’t the one telling everyone he’s tough. On top of major daddy issues, you have monetary concerns as well considering these are the two things you bring up the most out of, quite literally, nowhere.

Tis the season to be merry. Be happy with what you have, as little as it may be. Sling that Bud Lite like there’s no tomorrow. Be courteous and try to be a decent person to be around, you’ll be a lot happier for it.

Would depend heavily on where you work, obviously. Had a bartender at The Lobby Bar in the Mirage in Vegas tell me he made between $800-$900 a week. Not bad.

Let's talk about projection for a minute.

Life failure, worthlessness, insignificance. You bring these up in nearly every thread you pollute.

I bring up monetary matters because you quite often accuse other people of titty sucking the government. You demand thanks from people for supporting them and their families via taxes. We know what you do for a living. Frankly, the pay is ****. You routinely mock my line of work when in fact, my hospitality ventures rake in more money in 3 months than you'll likely see in a year. So no, I don't conjure the subject from nothing. I do it to call you out for the dead end shrimp dick you've so pathetically peaked as. My suggestion? Stop acting like hot ****. You are alone. You are bitter. Worst of all, you project it all with every word. If I liked you a little more, I'd feel bad for ya. Alas, I do not. I find it hilarious.

Lol. Merry Christmas, bitch.

My guys routinely hit 350-700 for a 3-5 hour corporate party. I used to hit those numbers working at downtown hotels and nightclubs back when I tended bar, but I'd work longer for it.

What is it with you shrimpdicks projecting?

Like, who brings up incest like that when someone calls you a cuckhold?

Why not let kids be kids and enjoy childhood as long as possible . Kids don’t think like that when they are young unless parents or other adults teach them to . You can teach the Bible and have Santa until they are old enough to not believe in Santa . The world is waiting to set them “ right “ and destroy their dreams when they are older so why not let them be kids . That’s the problem I would have with this teacher if she was teaching my kids .

What is the Right age for adults to disabuse innocent children of multiple races playing harmoniously together that is really unacceptable behavior?

Did you mean to quote me ? I’m not seeing a relation between Santa and adults teaching kids not to play together .

I know a few in Atlanta who pull in six figures. All about where you work.

Plus as far as I can tell he makes his money in beverage/restaurant consulting. That can be very lucrative but tough to get. I think he only tends bar between gigs or training people now. Could be wrong on that though.

I'm of the opinion that there hasn't been a better time to tend bar than now. My youngest cousin is in Austin at a fine dining concept (I used to work for the same company). He works about 30 hours and pulls in 1200-1500 weekly. He's doing private event stuff on the side which is perfect in that town. He probably eclipsed the 80k mark this year without cracking overtime more than a couple of times.
