Wilk's time is misleading. He ran his 40 backwards, one one leg, while signing a contract that stated he would only go at half speed during his NFL career due to the risk of serious and sometimes life threatening injury to the other team.

You're absolutely right there. But also, they couldn't make some pretty routine plays cause of their lack of speed. Ten yard plays turned into 60 yd touchdowns. Poor speed and "playing slow" because you don't know where to be/what you're doing is a really bad combination as we all saw.

Another year at UT could've done wonders for Sentimore.

Unless he had grade issues, him leaving makes no sense.

A great coach could have taken all that slow ineffective talent and consistently beaten the best teams in the SEC (which happen to be best teams in the nation). :lol: :eek:lol: .
In particular, those 3 td's Teague gave up against UF this past season come to mind. We need better players across the board. Butch is doing a good job recruiting so far. The rise has begun. GoVols.
