Teague, Waggner, and Wilkes all over 4.70 in the 40

it's truly sad those guys were out there playing cb and in man coverage. i thought we were done finding out how bad things really were last season until this. this is impressive in the worst way!

Who exactly was he outrunning? Maybe they were even slower than he was.

See for yourself... 4A TN football team. Running around memphis kids... My buddy coached him... They used to clock him unoffically at 4.4 and 4.5... And he was very highly recruited. I do feel bad for this kid because he's extremely smart and really got the raw end of the deal having to cover NFL receivers in college. I just ask that everyone won't be so hard on the kid. He is about the nicest guy you will meet and he really is VFL. you think he liked going out there and getting burnt? Also why didn't he get burnt when JJ was in the backfield? After JJ left he had almost no help over the top from the safety position. Just give the kid a break. It's over...

Z. Rogers ran a good 40, hopefully he can get drafted even if its late in the draft. I'm a little surprised Hunter had a better vert than Da'Rick. I remember all the fuss over Da'Rick reporting he had a 42" vert out of high school. 38" ain't bad though. But I thought Da'Rick could get higher.

Da'Rick is a good athlete, but Hunter was a jumper for the track team, i would have been surprised to see Da'Rick out jump him

I just want to know how a kid comes in timed at 4.4 or 4.5 like Teague and Wagner, but gets slower after a college weight and speed program

times were probably grossly misreported from high school.
i remember my middle school basketball coach clocking one of our players at 4.05. same kid in high school ran a 4.5 when it was electronically timed.

I think that part of it, definitely not all, was due to the last S&C program. He came in and we were relatively weak compared to other programs. In my opinion, he went overboard in trying to "bulk" the team up. In my opinion, we lost a lot of overall team speed due to that. As early as the first game, it was obvious. I think we are seeing a shift back to the speed and agility as well as strength development with what has been reported.

so... 40 times dont mean much?.....interesting. IT MEANS A LOT! Speed kills, thus the debacle last yr. Sorry, but sometimes i get on here just for laughs. Thats crazy.

Football is not a straight line game. I look at shuttle numbers more. There's better drills than the 40
