As a QB, absolutely. But everyone has been saying for a while that he probably wouldn't get drafted to play as a QB anyway and would be a better FB or TE.
Just watched the Senior Bowl, he's still having a bad day.1) Doubtless, TT is disappointed with his own performance;
2) He still has the combines;
3) The countryside is littered with the football corpses of those who have underestimated TT, especially based on one bad day.

[Offensive lineman Uche] Nwaneri posted on the Jaguars Web site that, while cashing a check, a bank teller started talking about how Tebow will save the Jaguars.
So Nwaneri posted his five points on Tebow, with capital letters:
"1. He can't throw, PERIOD.
2. He can't read any coverage other than probably cover 2 or man.
3. The QB Wildcat WILL NOT WORK IN THIS LEAGUE. PERIOD.
4. He doesnt know how to take a snap from center.
5. HE CANT THROW, and thats really something you either have or not."\- per yahoo/rivals
Can't really disagree with any.
But, who cares what some nobody OL believes. Tebow has done something that the Jags haven't EVER done. Win and win the big ones. They can try something different or keep NOT winning anything. Tim will be fine.
Umm, the Jags won their division twice. They've won playoff games and made the AFC championship game.
Also, that OL has done something Tebow hasn't - cashed NFL checks and started multiple NFL games at his designated position.
Just sayin'
You have got to be kidding.
I said big games. Hard to get an NFL check while attending college. They frown upon that.
So all NFL players are automatically able to decide who will or will not succeed in the NFL ? Spoken like a true fan of the garbage that the NFL has become.
Relax Francis. You said the Jags have never won anything. They have. Each playoff game is a big game. If you said they never won the championship I'd agree.
Secondly, you are trashing the OL player because he is trashing TT. I just pointed out that the OL player is successful enough in the NFL to be a starter at his position. The jury is out on TT.
Your last paragraph is paranoid ranting - no one suggesting the OL player decides.
Odd that you are defending TT's ability to succeed in a league that has become garbage...
The jags and the unnamed ot have NOT won anything that matters.
I simply believe his opinion is meaningless. I agree that Tim succeeding in the NFL, as it currently operates, is a pretty longshot.
Several Tampa Bay Bucs start for an NFL team but I wouldn't want them playing for the Gators. So being an NFL player is admirable but not worthy of hero worship on its own.
Tim will get his shot and succeed...or not. For that unnamed OL to believe his opinion matters is ridiculous, IMO. Free country though, he can say what he wants and so can I. No difference.
