If God were really orchestrating the Bronco's wins wouldn't the score be like 70-0?

Oddly I only counted volinbham and a few others who actually noticed the question posed and attempted to mention it.

The rest just made stupid jokes like I knew they would.

Kudos.

I think God cares about everything, including football. He just doesn't care on the same level or same way that we do.

God blesses us in this life. Does that mean that all wins are from God? No. Same is true for losses. Does He give strength and courage and peace to His disciples? Undoubtedly.

As to what Tebow does on camera, I think he is violating Matthew 6:

Don't think so because he is not doing it for show.

I truly believe he is really that passionate.

Did you skip chapter five?

Mathew 5:16
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Guess who will be offended by the following;

4 New York Teens Suspended for Tebowing in School - BCNN1

Teens Suspended for Tebowing - Tim Tebow - Fox Nation

If we are told to let out light shine and then told not to pray in private, then obviously our prayer life is not what is meant by letting our light shine.

I guess I look at like they way the bible says to fast but not put look like you are. He can be passionate without making a show of it. Posing does not make God listen harder or you be more sincere. It does, however, get a lot of attention from people.

God gives us opportunities. Believers see those opportunities and do our best to use them for good. And give the glory to Him.
Tebow has the physical gifts to take advantage of opportunities given him on the football field. God offers the same opportunities to every other player (or person) but unless you recognize it is from God and act on it in a manner that is pure of heart, you are not as successful.
In each of the "miracle" wins, the opponent also had opportunities to win, but did not capitalize. Tebow saw that he had been given a chance, praised God for that chance, then acted on it using his gifts.
Were Tebow being brash and boastful about his accomplishments, I don't think the opportunities from God would be as plentiful or as visible to the rest of the world.
Love him or loathe him, Tebow's a good kid. I think he's a lousy QB and his passing skills are comparable to something you would normally see in a pee wee league game. But he's a good guy and living life the way he has been taught.

God giving you opportunities would also mean he knows what path you will choose. Doesn't that make your life preordained and pretty meaningless?

Just because God knows what you are going to do doesn't make your life meaningless. YOU don't know what is to come, so you make your own choices based on what you believe is the best choice. Sometimes it works out for you in this world, sometimes it doesn't. The end goal is to live with God for eternity.

So I guess you could say this life is meaningless anyway because the next is what counts. Christians only live in this world, we are not of this world.

Are other humans 'of this world'? other animals? plants? rocks? dirt?

but your life is already planned and known. Doesn't matter if I know the ending or not. You are not making choices you are simply following the script created for you. Seems boring

Yes. Non believers are of this world and destined to be separated from God for eternity.

You don't even know the script. Only God knows. We are all making our own choices based on our human characteristics. God knows what choice we will make, but since we don't know the eventual outcome it is not boring to our minds. We don't know our future nor should we. If you knew, then maybe it would be boring.
