Yes. Non believers are of this world and destined to be separated from God for eternity.

They are cast into the lake of fire.

Haha; you love your mythology.

So, since Christians are distinct and superior to all other humans; and, since all other humans are destined to spend eternity in a 'lake of fire', then why not just go ahead and start killing non-Christians who refuse to convert in order to make life better for the Christians while they are here, on earth?

They are cast into the lake of fire.

does it not strike you as odd that a loving god would do that to those who choose to not worship him? I mean he gives you this gift (free will) and then punishes you for exercising it.

You don't even know the script. Only God knows. We are all making our own choices based on our human characteristics. God knows what choice we will make, but since we don't know the eventual outcome it is not boring to our minds. We don't know our future nor should we. If you knew, then maybe it would be boring.

but that's the problem with how you describe it- you aren't making any choices you only think you are. Every action or decision you make is already done for you. Essentially you are just following the script of someone else's play. No matter what you say or do it has already been seen and put in motion by someone else. Whether you view that as boring or not isn't the real issue. The real issue is that you have zero control over your life. It also means that God knows who is coming to live with him and who swims in the fire lake. Why would he put people on earth when he already knows they're swimmers?

They are cast into the lake of fire.

Will we see them again on the 4th of July?

Free will is the biggest farce related to religion.

Ultimately, the Abrahamic religions never give one free will.

Yeah so when I hear someone tell me ''you have free will'' I laugh at them. What kind of ''god'' claims to give you a choice, aka ''free will'' and then let's you burn in hell if you don't make the ''right'' choice?

And to think, this is without the theory of predestination being incorporated.

I think God cares about everything, including football. He just doesn't care on the same level or same way that we do.

God blesses us in this life. Does that mean that all wins are from God? No. Same is true for losses. Does He give strength and courage and peace to His disciples? Undoubtedly.

As to what Tebow does on camera, I think he is violating Matthew 6:

This is a bunch of crap. He absolutely doesn't do it to be seen. Get a clue.

Actually Mormon teachings are all about free will. They have a concept called free agency. Basically God sent us to earth to see how we will act on our own will and conviction. Free agency is a very important part to God's plan of salvation. Ironically, most Mormons (like Romney), try to use government to suppress the free will of others.

You have special access to Tebow's will?

Facts:
-Tebow is seen when he does it.
-Tens of thousands of persons are in the stadiums he does it in.
- Hundreds of thousands watch on TV.

What clues do you have that we should 'get'?

May I borrow your magic microscope that let's you see inside people and know what they are thinking? I was wondering if one of my wife's friends really hates me or not.

If you are even wondering then chances are she wants you dead.

I also am not a judge of the heart nor would I ever. I don't think it's for show but who knows.

But back to your wife's friend ... yeah she probably wants you gone.

I guess I look at like they way the bible says to fast but not put look like you are. He can be passionate without making a show of it. Posing does not make God listen harder or you be more sincere. It does, however, get a lot of attention from people.

This needs to be more of a private conversation but David made his display very public and God was happy with it.

Yeah, I figured that. Puts her in the same category as about 99.9% of the women I know. At least I convinced 1 that I am not a total schmuck.

Wait; I thought Christians always separated the actions of the OT God with those of the NT God.

Is the separation simply one of convenience dependent upon what it is that is being argued?

No one who reads the book correctly separates the actions of God. God doesn't change, and for anyone who wants to say that the God in the OT was all whack em and stack em while the God of the NT is all sweetness and light needs to reread the story of Ananias and Sapphira. What is separated is the law that is binding upon us. That is consistent, not picking and choosing. The book tells us that the whole word, old and new, exists to teach us. We can learn lessons from the OT without being bound by the law. We can find examples in the OT without thinking that what someone did in the OT grants us permission to do something contrary to the new law. Why is that hard for people to get?

If God is immutable and perfect, then said God would only need to hand down one law.
