Tee Martin to FSU?

we got Coach Azz. obviously several WRs saw something in our program/him to want to come here. beginning in April, UT will have twice as many (if counting da'rick) receivers in the NFL as FSU will.

let him go to FSU if he so chooses.

Ditto!

Shame on that man for leaving a sinking ship. (It has taken on more water since UT offered and he declined)

Shame on him for looking for a JOB with somewhat of a more stable future.

Good point. Scratch my earlier post. Forgot he was working for the SS Kiffin which is about to hit its own personal iceberg. Don't blame him for gettin out and handling his business. Wish it had worked out and he was wearing orange once again.

Where Tee Martin goes to coach will most likely be decided by Mrs.Martin....from all indications, she calls the shots in that family.

And I really have very little interest in where the Martin family decides to reside. Knoxville was not good enough for them so, again, my interest is minimal.

I said this when he turned the UT job down! I think Tee and CBJ did not see eye to eye on ALOT of things!! I got the sense from CBJ's no response, that the two really didn't get along! I don't think CBJ wanted the pressure of knowing a living legend from UT would be present on his staff. Quit blaming Tee.....his response to turning down our job was a straight professesional response. I think Tee knew the sitiuation at USC was going to get worse and, never stopped seeking employment elsewhere. Why we blaming Tee??? Hell, since UT fired Fulmer they have not done much right anyway....IMO....God forbid this be UT's fault.......Go Tee.....VFL.....Once CBJ fails 5 years from now, you people will be stroking Tee....Because he will be our next HC!!

Glad to see you have faith in the current staff that has been on the job less than 60 days and have yet to coach their first game.

You also seem to have a good deal of inside information - what is your basis for this.

And, lastly, Tee is going to be UT's next head coach, again, what would the basis for this be?

Haters gonna hate.

I support Tee in what ever his decision may be and wish him the best. I wish that he would have come home, but he made the decision that HE thought was best at that moment.

This is basically my thoughts on the matter.

I can understand the disappointment about Tee turning the job down, but some of the hate thrown his way is a bit ridiculous. Some of you act like Tee walked into your house and stole something.

Personally, I have no inside info on anything.

Would you expect CBJ or Tee to say anything Negative about their meeting?? No!! Basically, it was Tee's job if he wanted it! Who knows what happened in their meeting?

Secondly, I DONT have confidence in this staff. I love the Vol's......But this is not a SEC ready staff. Maybe, maybe 3-4 years from now.....but not now....not 2013-14 seasons.

Third, why else would Tee be coaching?? You honestly think he wants to be a WR coach the rest of his life. He will eventually be back at UT as a HC.

Perhaps Tee has seen the tea-leaves at USC and has decided to bolt to protect his reputation. I think he was from Mobile area. If so, at least he's in the vicinity of his hometown.

It's my understanding that Tee let it be known that he wanted to come home...when Dooley was the coach. Whether that is true or not, certainly Dooley could have hired him after Baggett. He chose not to do so, and Kiffin hired him.

He was the starting QB, on the last Vols team to win a NCG. The only NC in my lifetime so far. I wish him nothing but the best, hope he returns some day.

Kiffin is going down real soon. No longer an opening at Tennessee for Martin so he needs a job and FSU has an opening so don't blame him for taking it. I don't know why he didn't take the Tennessee job when offered evidently he must have thought Kiffin was stable. Now it is looking like Kiffin is done and want even make it through this next season.

Fallout from him losing Jalen Ramsey and other big time recruits on NSD IMO.

Sounds fishy to me.....Ramsey goes to FSU instead of USCw and a week after NSD the person that was recruiting him USCw is now going to FSU. Sounds like Ramsey knew something.

Really, some of you people are just full of sillyness if you ask me (which you didnt). Anyway, times change, obviousley things have changed at USC since Tee "interviewed" here. Guy has to do what he feels is best at the time a decision is made. He may be wishing he had taken the UT position now, who knows? A guy plays here, and becomes a coach, we expect him to come here and coach, and call him all kinds of names if he doesnt, and when he does and we are not as successful as we would like to be, there is absolutley no consideration given that they played here and came to coach here and poured everything they had into this program. Many times could have taken jobs elsewhere but chose to come here, or stay here because they love this University and program, and suddenly a couple of bad seasons and we cant get rid of them fast enough, and then to pour salt in the wound we will continue to criticize and poke fun of them long after they are gone. Tee led our team to an undefeated season, SEC Championship and National Championship, now he is a chump because he didnt take a coaching position here, yea, that makes sense.

Tee Martin has a right to coach where he chooses, and his decisions as an adult will not nullify what he did in the record books while at UT; nor should they. T helped to bring us a National Championship, enough said. I wish him and his family the best. Maybe one day circumstances will work out where he can wear the orange and white once again, duplicationg his previous success at UT. May God bless him, and his family.

Since graduating, T has represented this university with class, and he is currently one of the most respected position coaches at the collegiate level. What a great role model to young athletes, and recruiting tool for UT's Butch Jones to use.

I'm off my soap box now

Earth to those PO'd - Jimbo Fisher is a proven coach with a top 20 program that recruits well in the best state for top football players in America.

Tee interviewed at UT and it didn't work out. Both moved on. Now Tee sees the ship sinking after NSD and considers a great offer. Really that is all it is and all it should be. Good luck to him. If CBJ has the best staff in America as he claims it didn't matter that he did not get Tee. Time will tell.

No doubt. Dude made a mockery of us to be loyal that that lil b! Screw him. In my mind he'll never be welcome back here. He can follow lil kiffie wherever he goes once fired

Made a mockery! Ha! Don't get carried away. I think maybe 3 people (outside of our fan base) even knew he was interviewing elsewhere. I bet 9 out of 10 USC fans don't even know who he is or that he is a trojan coach.

It hurt but...he did not sign a life long contract in blood to Tennessee. I wish him the best.
