Tee's coming home

It is kinda unfortunate that out of all days he comes here, it's the gloomiest day in months..

His family prolly got off the plane from warm sunny California and was like.. Gross.

Not like it affects his decision, but weather does play a part in your subconscious.

You act like that's the first time Tee and his family have been to Knoxville.

:eek:hmy:

I did send a tweet to Tee with how to end his relationship with Kiffy, just say Hey Lame you remember that one time you quit your job after only a year. #hollaatchaboy

Please tell me you really did not. If so, do us all a favor and just disappear. The only effect your childish tweet would have on Tee would be to scare him off.

Can not imagine Tee turning job down. Lane is in the hot seat which should scare Tee. Tee also is a legend here. He has street named after him and last QB to win a Sec and nationial title. There is a different appreciation for Tee here than LA. In LA most people would not even know him if they seen him on the street.

He's also our last QB to be named to the ALL SEC 1st team.

Not everyone would agree that the festering cesspool of humanity, LA, is a better way of life...

Way to generalize about 8 mil people bro. Don't hate...appreciate! W/out LA what would you watch on TV... reruns of the Andy Griffith show? Or better yet...Oprah?

Where is Sab at? Isn't it time to break out one of his epic bromance letters written to recruit Tee back to Knoxville?

Tee could pull a couple of his recruits our way if he comes.
5 star Jalen Ramsey - Nashville
4 star Jason Hatcher Louisville

Maybe, maybe not. I think those saying Tee(if hired) would get these guys to come to UT are just hoping. Hatcher was quoted as saying he could not play for a UT team that lost to UK. Ramsey has shown ZERO interest in us. He seemed to be more into the "Cali idea", than a WR coach. I would not figure landing either kid at better than 15%.

Absolutely. Can you imagine the conversation some day between Tee and his son: "See, your daddy has a street named after him here. That probably won't happen to us again if we stay in California."

Did anyone notice the crappy rain today? That's one thing USC offers... a much better way of life.

Really hoping that this isn't serious.

Honestly, from someone who has lived all over the country, there is NOTHING better than the Southern way of life. The Southern hospitality cannot be found in California. I've lived in places with beautiful weather, but it doesn't matter if the rest sucks. The people, women, food, football, and general hospitality of those around you make the South the best place in America to live if you ask me. When I left Southern states, I was glad to get out and experience something different. When I saw kids badmouth adults and not address them with respect while also seeing annoying stuff like men not holding doors open for women, I decided to get the hell out and head back down south. God forbid Tee and his family put up with about 8 weeks of "crappy" weather (people need to realize that a Knoxville winter is nicer than about 75% of other places in the winter).

Tee is headed back to LA tomorrow. Said he'd mull over the offer. He was given the offer a couple days ago and said things are headed in the right direction at UT. He also said he is very happy at USC and is not actively looking to leave. He's proud of USC's current recruiting class and will discuss this with his family. - @TennesseeBeat

Unfortunately, given where we now stand, you may well prove to be correct. On the other hand, Kiffin is an excellent recruiter but he doesn't have the mesmerizing pied piper effect of Pete Carroll. They are beginning to slip a bit and it will be interesting to see how much longer they can continue to cherry pick the nation for blue chip prospects.

We would have a conservative president

actually, you'd need to get rid of Iowa, Florida, Ohio, Wisonsin, and Virginia.

Don't hate, appreciate.

;)

back on topic: Tee's kids mother has lived here for a long time. His children split time between their real mom and Tee and his wife. Don't think he's not in Knoxville often. Don't ask me how I know.

That makes sense.

I don't like the sound of that but I don't blame Tee. Sounds like he is on the up an up at uscw. If he passes on the UT job now maybe we get him in the future as a offensive coordinator.

I always love to see past UT players succeed in their future endeavors whatever they may be.

I hope he comes but I'm starting the think he wants to wait. He knows we will always be here, maybe a retiring place.. See the country at other universitiea while he younger and settle in here later in his career. Plus his wife is only 29 and a former singer.. She may want to start back up her career in a few years and probably enjoys that Cali life.
