Flat out wrong. Many, many places in this great country are just as hospitable as the south. I love my wife, that's the only reason I reside here. I have many great friends that do or die by the 'southern creed", whatever that is. And I would bend over backwards to help them if asked. But on the flip side, the education level, IMO, is sorely lacking in the southern states. Basically, a region that puts religion above education is what they do in places like Iran and Afghanistan and it stunts or inhibits the populace from free thinking (the south). Back on subject, if Tee decides to once again become a Vol, hell yes - Welcome Back!

I honestly have to wonder about Butch Jones' ability to recruit if he can't even get Tee Martin (who loves this place) to come back and coach here, considering all the money he has to pay for assistants. Makes me question what kind of salesman he can be for UT, if he can't even get one of our own to come back here.
Tee has to give up half his salary just for the CA cost of living, in terms of taxes and otherwise...so Kiffin would have to offer him double what we are, in order for it to be of equal value. No he's not.
Negative idiot fan base and oodles of $$$$$ and Kiffin asskissing from USC made the decision easy.
What's bad is that if Wilcox had stayed, Tennessee would've had a MUCH better year than USC...so, for Tee to look at this program as a step down from USC....I really don't want him here, if it's really that tough of a choice.
Well, looks like 'ole skeet got one wrong. Wonder what made him think it was a sure thing...
He said Tee was coming home. Tee came here yesterday and interviewed. This morning Skeet updated that it sounded like Tee wanted to be here but his wife wanted to stay in LA and that Tee was going to have a hard decision to make.
Yeah...the only reasons I see him staying at USC is: not wanting to uproot his family and he just prefers the area (wife being recording artist, etc). Other than that, I can think of several reasons to come back. Even if the money is same as what he is making in Cal. the cost of living would be significantly lower here in E. Tenn. Kiffin is probably not going to last at USC. Granted, Tee would be able to find a job very quickly soon after, but would it be here at UT? Doubt it. Here at UT, Tee is more than likely guaranteed 3 years and possibly more if Butch works out well. He is at the school where he played, in the SEC, fantastic facilities, and a chance to turn your alma mater back around into the powerhouse it used to be. Really struggling to make sense out of this one.
Per Skeeter and Guys on Tos.
I've seen him make 3 predictions, all of which were untrue.
Maybe I just kept catching him on bad days, but I dont care on iota about his 'insider info'.
