I had been to games at Neyland but that 1972 GT game is one of my earliest memories of watching the Vols on TV

Alabama: this year but before that it was 95

Arkansas: 1998

Auburn: Dont really have a strong feeling for any particular game against them. I guess the 97 SEC CG.

Florida: 2001 because we were 3 score dogs and so much was riding on the win.

Georgia: 2016 Dobbnail boot

Kentucky: Not really sure, maybe 2018? When they were in the top 10 and we spoiled their season.

LSU: 2005

Ole Miss: no strong feelings. I guess 2021 even though we lost it was a fun game to attend and be part of the new tradition of Frenches mustard.

Miss State: 1998 SEC CG

Mizzou: 2021 because it was the Heupel and Hooker coming out party.

South Carolina: 2014 was when Dobbs rallied a come back to win in OT?

A&M: Cotton Bowl

Vandy: Any time we **** them out. BUT the 07 game was fun for some guys who were sitting near me trying to rally the crowd while the team was sleep walking through the first half.

That Auburn 1997 Championship game was too close for some of us. When I think of a TN Vols vs Auburn game, I think of the one in 1984 where we beat them good that day when they came into Neyland Stadium ranked #1 & had Bo Jackson featured as their big Heisman Trophy winner running back sensational. But nobody knew a thing of the TN Vols QB in Tony Robinson. The following week, Tony Robinson's picture was on Sports Illustrated & was talking about how the Vols destroyed the #1 ranked Auburn team on Saturday.

I’m going Tennessee 21 Auburn 0 in 1973, during a monsoon, Bill Battle was having the team punt on 1st down.

Good list.
For Old Miss I’m gonna go with the Bassvols game where The Vols destroyed them after Kiffin threw out the first pitch with a golf ball.
And their starting pitcher made an a$$ of himself and wasn’t allowed to comment on games after that 🤣
We lit them up lol? That series was fun.

You could be right. I might have the years confused. I was thinking they played in the 1985 Sugar Bowel on Jan. 1st of that year. The 1984 Auburn game was played in September to get them to the 1985 game w/Miami.

It was played on September 28, 1985, my 8th birthday. The Sugar Bowl against Miami was January 1, 1986.

I was too young for that one but know about it from old videos. Had I been more into football at that time I can definitely see it ranking higher.

Alabama 1995 - all he did was score on play #1. Vols roll the tide 41-14 in Birmingham. (this year was a close 2nd tho)
Arkansas 1971 - LIberty Bowl. Vols come from behind to win 14-13. It was "hog killing time in Tennessee."
Auburn 1985 -- Auburn #1 at time, Bo won the Heisman but quit in the 3rd Q this day as Vols won 38-20. Robinson throws, McGee catches.....
Florida 1990 -- Spurrier brings his first Gator team to Neyland, 6-0 and ranked 3rd... Vols win 45-3....Von Reaves to Carl Pickens
Georgia 2016 -- Dobbs heaves it.....
Kentucky 2022 -- UK thought they were going to win .........lose 44-6
LSU 2022 -- 40-13. Beat down of a very good team. Tigers thought they were gonna win that one too.
Ole Miss 1968 -- Vols beat down Archie Who 31-0 in Knoxville
Miss State 1990 -- hotter than blue blazes and MSU thought they were gonna win. Vols won 40-7 in Starkville......Ber-Nard Daffney!!
Missouri 2021-- Boat raced the Tigers in Columbia
South Carolina 1993 -- 55-3 and was not as close at the score. Steve Tanneyhill was their QB
Texas A&M 2005 Cotton Bowl-- heard how great Aggie fans were but they all left in 3rd Q. Vols won 38-7 in another game not as close as the score
Vandy 1994 or 2022 -- Both times, Vandy came in on a winning streak and expected to win. Lost 65-0 and this year lost 56-0. 98 was fun too, won 40-0.
