No you didn’t...you revisited the same names I had already mentioned and added nothing close to anything except your opinion to counter the statistical proof I supplied that showed they did contribute while here.

You really got a high opinion of your opinion and that’s fine. But by the numbers, it’s hard to label guys who averaged 20 minutes a game for 60+ games as “misses” or even “bust” not a single one of the 6 guys from Barnes played in 65 games OR averaged even 10 mpg.

Pearl had plenty of disappointments here, but less attrition overall during his time as I proved with the stats I supplied you keep ignoring.

Attrition is a player leaving, regardless of their stats...again I don’t think arguing that Pearl’s players who left were better than Barnes’ players who left is really supporting your point here.

You count Kenny Hall who played in more games than Grant or Bone...I have my own thoughts on what defines a “miss” or attrition. You clearly have different parameters, is what it is.

It is splitting hairs.

Rick Barnes has his own culture, his own way of doing things, thus making it harder for players to stick it out. Bruce Pearl was a lot less strict, gave more freedom on the court, but did not recruit to a certain brand of player.

Truth. I prefer Barnes & his culture. Just sucks our bench seems weaker this year with the recent departures.

Hall is a good example of a player who was never coached to anywhere his potential.

Ramar Smith
Marques Johnson
Josh Tabb

Kenny Hall

If I recall correctly, Mathew Dotson never came to UT. He was recruited by Buzz, when Pearl took over as coach, he told Dotson that he didn't fit his system and he accepted a scholarship to Belmont.

Correct. Pearl caught a lot of grief over it, too, but it was the right decision.

The way it was handled was the issue...told Dotson he had a spot, wasn’t until Dotson was headed in a car loaded up to campus that they got a call saying not to bother.

I remember there being controversy surrounding it, but I don't remember that. Not saying it didn't happen that way, but that's not what I recall. In any case, it was 15 years ago, so I won't be surprised.

All-time Vols basketball team in order of greatness, imo :

Bernard King, Tony White (favorite all-time Vol, so biased), Dale Ellis, Allan Houston, Ernie Grunfield, Chris Lofton, Ron Slay (another personal favorite), Grant Williams, Dyron Nix, Reggie Johnson, CJ Watson (needed a PG), and Keon Johnson. Yeah, I know Keon sounds crazy, but holla at me in a couple years and I bet u agree with me. If not, JRich gets that last spot for me. When I say all-time, I really mean since DeVoe was the head coach and going on Bernie and Ernie's highlights and their NBA careers. Although, I do remember Reggie Johnson

Jemere Hendrix is another turd that Pearl flushed. But I bet it was more Fulmer's decision and CBP would have retained him had he had any power at the time.
