Tennessee basketball players arrested - Tyler, Goins, Cam, and Bryan

New football coach in 3 years and a new basketball coach 2 years. Book it.

Probably. I know it's hard to build a program sometimes without making some compromises, but this seems to be the result. So really, what's the point? Might as well try and do it the right way from the start.

As for Lane, I expect he'll head back to the west coast at first chance, He's young enough and has no ties to us. I can't see him staying here long term.

The next person that spews this crap about how everyone is the same culturly is retarded. this is radiculous. why do these players think they need guns? this is a issue that needs to quite being swept under the rugg. but i tell you what, our coaches need to get with the program and institute some damn regulations and teach them some disipline. if they are not getting it at home then they need to learn it at a school they are getting to go to for free

Colleges are not parental substitutes, nor can they be. Rules and regulations are in place to punish the players for things like this, so that isn't the problem. The problem is that most of these kids are selfish and too stupid to realize just how good they have it. That or they just don't give a damn about rules and think they can flaunt them because of who they are.

Good god, I think whatever they were doing was stupid, but let's not hang all four of them yet.

As I have learned since loss to Va Tech last night, we can't critisize and if you do you are not a real UT fan and should go find another team. You have to accept and be satisfied with every decision and thing the players and coaches at UT do.

Easy now, it's already gotten racist in here once today. :eek:lol:

Lets get something straight, what I said wasn't racist, nor do I view myself as someone who dislikes anyone due to the color of their skin. I may have exagerated some stereotypes, but all I intended to do was call the hip-hop culture, and its general negative influence on the black community, on the carpet.

You can criticize, but your arguments should carry some weight. Yours didn't and when you got refuted by reasonable statements you folded like a tent and had no reply.

Not going to happen. I love UT, it's my school, but I will not be passive. It's unfair for anyone to expect blind allegiance.

Really? Yeah we lost a bowl game but lets all calm down a little bit. Lane wants to win here, whether it happens or not believe me he isn't looking to jump ship at the first chance. He named his son Knox for goodness sakes and the kid wasn't even born in Tennessee.

This was his first year and there were alot of positives some of us are forgetting about (Crompton's turnaround, blocked field goal away from beating Bama, top 10 recruiting class in 3 months, no.1 overall recruit...).

Give it time and lets have this conversation again in a few years

***THE REPORT IS BOGUS***
Don't believe it. It said that Brian Williams was in the back seat of a Dodge Charger. No way he fits in the back seat.

Kick all 4 hoodlums off the team and be done with it. Set an example Bruce !!

And what exactly was taken out that carried such substance that would have made your argument any stronger?

I will put it nicely so I don't receive any more PMs from the mods: I am as big a fan of UT as anyone on here and I am sick and tired of people like me being told that we are fair weather fans and need to go find a new team because we are pissed about having our teeth kicked in by Va Tech.
