He's been treated like a king since hes been in knoxville and for good reason. But hes gonna be questioned a lot more after this game.

There should have been questions long before this. He went 11-2 and the program was flush with cash. He could have basically had his pick of DCs and DB coaches and hired a TE coach with a recruiting history. He thinks he’s a genius and that he can outscore everyone. Banks/ Martinez and mediocre OL recruiting are going to land him on the hot seat.

Is this a serious post? If you think Milton is in the same universe as any of those others, you really have zero knowledge of football. Those other guys could read defenses, work through progressions, use the pocket, throw accurately and with touch…and watch the damn play clock. They could run an offense. Milton can’t do any of those things.

Compared to Butch, Pruitt, and Dooley yes. Compared to the coaches he has to beat like Kirby Smart, Saban, Kiffin, Kelly I’m not so sure. He’s .500 vs horrible coaches line Beamer and Napier. Those should be easy wins for a great coach. Don’t get wrong-he’s great by our miserable standards. Just not great by the standard set by programs that are relevant.

I love the meltdowns on this board...I'm being generous by saying maybe 10% of the posters on this board have any type of coaching experience at any level. Most of you can't fathom the difficulty of keeping face and leading a team in a hostile environment without your star center and then your #2 qb isn't available. How many of yall had to keep your composure and lead a team while the refs are making (or missing) awful calls that are slowing down any type of comeback or momentum? Imagine the comments on this board IF Coach would've put in Shuler or Moore at qb. We have a good coach, but I won't say that we have an amazing quarterback. The false starts will be addressed because CJH is not an idiot.

He is the best qb we will play against all year. He was recruited by Lincoln(I produce Heisman Trophy winning qbs)Riley. If I am not mistaken he was the #1 qb in his class. We will definitely have our hands full. Qb play is so important. If you don’t have a good one you are going to struggle

I don’t like him as a person, but he is a rare talent, and if he stays healthy and out of trouble he will make a great NFL QB.
