Nice, you want to play the carefully worded evasive statement game. Well, you need to get better at it.

This "discussion" started when LVOCD listed the "Griner nightmare" as one of the factors that are making life more difficult for women pro players. Then you queried "what nightmare?" followed up by "didn't she presumably break another country's laws? " Those questions focus on Griner and her legal situation., You did not say, "Hey, what happens to Brittany has nothing to do with this topic". No, no, no, you wanted to insert the idea that Brittany Griner was not ensnared in a nightmare scenario but that she had created this dilemma through her own actions. Your hedge "I never said she was guilty or innocent" is not convincing because to deny that being held in a Russian prison with no due process is a nightmare, indicates you believe that she deserves what she is getting. As Lucy highlighted, you knew all about the situation so your questions were blatantly disengenuous and agenda driven.

Don't really care if it's convincing to you or not. I stand by my statement it has nothing to do with the league at this point.

Me too. I can't wait for Jaz Powell and especially Rickea to live some of this. I think of what RJ's career has been like - 4 different coaches and the curse of the Hayes' and I want her to soak up as much of this culture as she get in one year. Because of the situations she and Powell are coming from, I think they are going to fit right in to the family style culture. And they deserve it, all players do.

I love that LV Fever podcast so much. The program improvements keep on coming! Finally an actual informative, knowledgeable media presence for the LVs. Dan Flessor always seemed like the guy who drew the short straw in the sports dept and ended up bored AF on the Lady Vol beat. Cora Hall actually and actively knows the whole SEC and WBB in general

I noted in their analysis of next season's rotation they agreed that generally, there will be about an 8 or 9 player core. Others may get special assignment or pressing D mins, or heaven forbid injury mins, but basically 6 or 7 will be competing for about 2 regular min slots. Sure is going to be interesting!

I remembered bk home different sports plays friendly matches with other sports. Would be interesting if our BB play against soft ball team.

Does anyone know the networks these games are on? Would love to see the Sparks and the Sky and maybe watch to see how Diamond fits in at Phoenix.

WNBA Basketball Scores - WNBA Scoreboard - ESPN

ESPN has the networks listed next to each game (do facebook and twitter count as networks?). There's also the WNBA league pass, but I've found alot of the games I want to watch are locked for me. They really don't make it easy for the fans! 😩

You won't be seeing it tonight because Diamond is not with the team yet (still overseas).
