I'm guessing there's some ridiculous NCAA rule about it, 'cause I'm sure everyone in the Lady Vols' program would agree there's no value to keeping it secret. What is the value of keeping a scrimmage “secret”? I understand not having film I suppose. Maybe not giving stats. But generalities or acknowledging who one played makes no sense. Men’s teams are doing that routinely.

I heard last year, I think, that they're not even allowed to keep score (or some such). The NCAA doesn't want it to be even remotely considered/treated like/publicized like a real -- or even exhibition -- game. So it's "secret." Silly, but it is what it is.
Travis, I don't think it was VT, they scrimmaged Richmond this past weekend (and lost by 20+). More likely one of the NC schools from the Winston Salem/Raleigh Durham areas would be a logical guess, or of course one of the WV schools WVU/Marshall. Those are guesses from looking at the map of where Emery Va. is located in comparison to Knoxville and other schools within a reasonably similar distance to Emery. I didn't consider smaller schools since the poster led us to believe it was a major.Sounds like Virginia Tech. Or I guess could be UVa but they're a bit further away.
Oooops… gettin political.Oh look, the "insider" that claims to know but can't tell anyone is poking his nose in the discussion in an attempt to show everyone that he knows something you don't and he wants to let you know he laughs at you for not knowing. What a piece of work, as usual. Just pity him and ignore.
Good questions!Georgia Tech, perhaps? Emory and Henry my *zz.
Who is the 2025 player they're referring to?
Good questions!
And, I have no inside sources! So, as to where they went or who they played...
I do not know.
I do not care.
I will love them and pull for them ...worldwide!
However:
If what we've heard from poster(s), is half right; and if the Ball Out site is geographically correct ...we could then speculate (our favorite past time) that, perhaps we scrimmaged at Emory University in Atlanta?
