I having been debating back and forth for the last couple of years about getting ESPN+. After all that rumination, I decided yesterday to at least get it for this month so I could see the LVs vs Memphis. I come home from work today and find out that it has moved to ESPNNews, which I already have in my spectrum cable package. Anyway, hope some others will be able to watch without spending extra bucks. Meanwhile, I will be checking some ESPN+ games this month.

yes, we are going too. The next day is Marin Luther King holiday, so easy for travel. The last time I saw the Lady Vols in the Vanderbilt gym was my favorite game ever: The unbelievable comeback in the last 5 minutes over North Carolina to get to the final 4 and to eventually win the national championship in an undefeated season. What a memory. While there is no way this game will match that one, it should be a fun game that could go either way. Hope that Kim puts her stamp on their gym like Pat did.

Hadn't thought about that, but...
CKC seldom calls timeouts, and always gives her players freedom to play on the court.

Which means the Vandy end zone bench arrangement will have less effect on our team than it has on previous LV teams.
(Of course, we might get winded running all the way down to the scorer's table to check in every 3 minutes!)

Thanks for that update. I was going to grab espn+ for a month for thar game too..

So I was really thinking about YouTube TV but my understanding is you can not record things. Is that correct? Does anyone know of a workaround for that?

look into Direct tv,,,it has more channels and programming than spectrum, charter/xfifity and uverse. and is cheaper

If you want to stream and not do traditional cable (and I can't imagine not making that choice), You Tube TV is FAR cheaper than DirectTV stream. I've recently had both. Even w a recent price increase to 82$ per month, yt is 45$ per month less expensive than the 130$ per month I was paying for the same channels w DTV.

You Tube TV does have a DVR feature where you can record programs to your library. With any streaming service, you can do a free trial before purchasing, and of course, can cancel anytime.

Who cares what ESPN thinks. They hate UT in every sport.

At least so far we're not overrated. If we ended up losing to most of the ranked teams coming on the schedule and remained ranked ourselves, then they could say that. But we haven't given them any reason to say that to this point, and may never.

Of course we'll likely lose some games. There have been very few undefeated seasons for a reason. But I feel like our group will work hard and compete in every game, so whomever wrote that may never have a legit reason to hold that opinion.

Didn't know Hagemann was coming back makes Memphis a lot better not enough to win I don't think , but certainly closes the gap. She is a really terrific point guard. CKC really not happy with a lot of what the team is doing in games. Doesn't want 50 threes Wednesday and we need to get on the boards.
