Tennessee Lady Vol News

Didn't know Hagemann was coming back makes Memphis a lot better not enough to win I don't think , but certainly closes the gap. She is a really terrific point guard. CKC really not happy with a lot of what the team is doing in games. Doesn't want 50 threes Wednesday and we need to get on the boards.

I bet she wants at least 40! 😉🧡🤙🏼

I'd like to see about fifty mid-range and layup bet we could hit at least 25 of them. She prepares this team thoroughly with all they need to know to win. When we do lose it will be on the players or because the other team just had to much talent.

Whatever the defense is giving.

Whats Basketball Worldwide?
A separate X account of questionable heritage. 😉🧡🤙🏼

Raoul, Talia, 247 are sites with which I am comfortable. The Boneyard is “the” UConn site, lots of folks there have good depth and will generally reflect a spectrum but Nan rules with no nonsense. Keeps the riff raff down, imo. I don’t go there often, but occasionally.

I followed wbb for years back when espn had game blogs where fans could interact but those were rough and loaded with trolls. I did calibrate an internal ignore function for sure! 😉

I know TN hasn’t played as many games as most teams currently, and even factoring UCONN in February, it appears we still may be down a game or two of non-conference games opposed to other teams. Has anyone else noticed this shortage of games scheduled?
Looks like we’ll wind up with about two fewer OOC games than most of the SEC.

CKC is not a fan of mid-range - 3s and layups have a higher (ROO) return on opportunity.

Nor should she be. I do think that having more drive and penetrate baskets from Spearman, Jillian, Ruby, and Latham and less 3s would be progress. Spearman is becoming quite good at this. Tess, Coop, and Samara all shoot greater than 35% from 3s so they should continue their open 3s.

Taking what they’re giving…

So I was really thinking about YouTube TV but my understanding is you can not record things. Is that correct? Does anyone know of a workaround for that?
You can “record” an unlimited number of games on YoutubeTV and even set your controls in advance to record all lady vols games or (I think) even all ncaaw games. The catch is that you view these replays on YoutubeTV, and YouTube only keeps your games available for 18 months or maybe 2 years. After that, your access is gone. For example, I can watch an Ohio State game from this season before we play Saturday because I recorded all NCAA football games, in case I later wanted see one (I didn’t know which). But I can no longer go back and watch our 2022 Bama game: the “recording” has “expired.”

Ok you can get a one event pass for the tourney coming up for 20 dollars this is a new deal I hadn't found and ten dollars a game if we beat Memphis tonight I think I will be giving it a try. I've never seen any of their streaming just hoping it is better than Flo.

Yeah, unless Cora spoke to her privately afterward, or one of the players told her she'd said "whole trip" in talking to them, then she didn't go that far. At least not in the media conference.

I like Kim's strategy on that, though, because it WILL get them better prepared for the games. Even if EVERYthing they see doesn't sink in, some of it will.

I like how Kim framed it, too, in asking them to be grown-ups and watch the film to help them prepare instead of other media "like little kids" (or something to that effect).

Since they didn't have time to prepare for all three opponents really well in Pratt, I sure hope the players do buckle down and take that film-watching mandate seriously. I bet they will. 😀
