We might host if we do that. At the going rate that feels a long shot though. This team looks totally dejected. Something happened.

They’re a lot of unnecessary shots going up and bad ball handling and some that think they need to shoot every time they touch it. Now if have the hot hand that’s different. We miss layups more than we should, but there’s some issue or issues going on.

I'm just glad it's been recognized how much of a liability she is and doesn't play as much.

BTW, Kellie Harper's worst conference record in her tenure was 10-6 --- Caldwell's 8-8 is the worst since Holly Warlick went 7-9 in her last year

We overachieved in OOC this year, but we underachieved in conference. For all Kim’s talk about her teams peaking in March, that sure hasn’t been the case her first two years in D1 ball…

There has been talk of Lazo leaving for a HC job. If that happens we need to get a replacement lined up quickly because Kim is going on maternity leave when the season ends and won’t be actively recruiting for a couple of months.

You make it seem like Lazo is some miracle worker. Tell me how he recruited a Mississippi State and get back with me. He didn't have the recruiting dollars there and those he did recruit didn't make the NCAA tournament last year. His recruits are there this year finishing 10th in the league and barely making the NCAA tournament. He has had recruiting dollars that weren't available the last 5 years and everyone wants to make him the recruiting whisperer. Money talks.

Like him a lot, but you're right. More funds and Caldwell sealing the deal. Players don't come to play for assistants. It's because he was "lead recruiter" for the ones we did sign for 2025. Or, so it was reported.
