Tennessee @ Mississippi State (October 13, 2012)

You gonna think asinine when we end up beating y'all even worse than 31-10. Y'all might keep it interesting for the first half but we will most likely end up beating y'all pretty bad. And I know y'all are scared and worried about this game because it's obvious and I love it. Don't get me wrong, we respect y'all but that doesn't change the fact that we are simply a lot better. Y'all keep talking about how we ain't beat y'all since 1994, well the times have changed my friend.

Got Mullen?

No I think its crazy that you actually know what asinine means.

Got a win against UT since 1994?

I like Billy
he is just doing some good ole fashion smack talking. He hasn't once said anything hateful or ugly, but i cant say the same thing for a lot of our fans that have posted here being total pricks.

MSU should be, at worst, 4-1 when we play them. So it'll be interesting.

MSU wins six games and finishes no better than 2-6 in the SEC...at best. You'll have to remind me the last time Mullen beat a team fom the SEC West that wasn't in the state of Mississippi or an SEC East team that wasn't in a rebuilding year, an adverse situation, or a doormat.

No offense, but no one has been beating SEC West teams beside each other. Failing to break through against these teams is not a very serious indictment of "our" progress as a program IMO...

Past 2 seasons for the top 5 teams SEC west against everyone else:

State - 16-2 (L @ #19 UGA, L to #9 SC)
Auburn - 17-2 (L @ #19 UGA, L @ #22 Clemson)
Alabama - 16-1 (L @ #22 SC)
LSU - 18-0
Arkansas - 17-0* (*Vacated loss to #5 Ohio St)

Total record against everyone else: 84-5*

State's losses INSIDE our division come against: #1, @#8, @#10, #12 in 2010, and #1, #2, @#5, and @#27 in 2011.

Not making excuses, just pointing out facts. IF we don't manage to beat Auburn and/or A&M this year, at that point I will start getting SERIOUSLY concerned.

This is what they don't understand. That's why they are having trouble realizing how much better we are than them. Can't wait to prove it on the field. Good post engie.
