I don't know what it is, but out of the four State fans I've found on forums I visit (yeah, small sample size, but whatevs) engie is the only likable one of them. The other three, including Billy C, are either brilliantly trolling or have an IQ a third of Forrest Gump's, and that may be giving them too much credit.

I've found that our small taste of success has really brought out the lunatic fringe online...

Unreasonable expectations lead to reasonable disappointment, and gives a program too many peaks and valleys to ever really progress. Too emotional overall.

The VAST majority of State fans in the real world are logical people. Many of our jobs depend on our application and use of logic without emotion(engineers).

We are VERY optimistic about our direction as a program, but we generally have no misunderstanding of where we ARE and where we've been. That's why we're not overly concerned or upset about Mullen's inability to win in the west right now...

I'm sure the majority of State fans are nice people. When your Internet presence constitutes of Billy C and this idiot on another forum who said the equivalent of "players don't improve from year to year", however...

It's not every season I get to see the dawgs completely dominate Tennessee in Stark Vegas so I def hope I make this one.

The adding Vegas to any town is dumb enough. But stark Vegas? Stark. Vegas?
