That tweet is unnecessarily generous to Holly. We made the tournament this year by the skin of our teeth and quickly were shown the door. She didn't need to make a Final Four to keep her job, just not get to where we're at now.

Yes, the program clearly is sliding in the wrong direction to anyone who is paying even the least bit of attention.

I understand that hat your saying but some wouldn’t say Pruitt is elite and he’s got some Elite assistants on his staff.

I expect good things from Pruitt but he’s not elite yet

He ways only a grad assistant though. He still supports the program too and every year donates to the We Back Pat foundation.

I think as long as the person understands how to manage, you surround yourself with the best/people better than you in certain areas....that hides deficiencies and you learn from those people as well. Nobody will be a complete master. I’m sure Geno uses Shea Ralph to assist where he lacks. Same with Niele Ivey and McGraw. I think elite assistants are just that sometimes, elite assistants. And as long as the coach is really good the elite assistants put them over the jump
