They're aiming for this SEC title which would be only their 2nd in program history. You will see Ashley Rogers again at some point this weekend. Every game is too meaningful, especially with @Arkansas and Florida on the horizon.

Regular season title is not as important as post season play ....I would not pitch her again this weekened.

I disagree. It absolutely is important for a few reasons. 1. we've only done it once in the program's history, and 2. Win the SEC regular season, and you've guaranteed yourself the opportunity to host a super regional. Ashley has thrown a 1/4th of the pitches she threw a few years back. She's fine. (but i understand your concern).

If I were the Lady Vol coach ,I would stop calling the pitches and tell the pitcher throw it down the middle of the plate .....about knee high and see if a strike can be called.

Scouting umps is just as important to scouting teams. Umps rarely change, so adjust pitch sequence.

Simpson getting by all I can say. She has threw a few pitches that the right batter would hit 250 feet.
