Was Weekly wise to pull Pickens in the 2nd? Even with an erratic/poor home plate umb,
when you start pulling pitchers early and every time they get into some trouble, you are
messing with their confidence. The Weeklys have always been keen on the quick yank--and I
think it is unwise. You don't want to mess with Pickens's confidence. You have to let pitchers
work out of trouble sometimes.

I didn't like it and still don't.

The goal is to win the game. With this ump behind the plate, she didn't have the control she needed. I think we will see her re-enter today in an attempt to build her confidence.

She needs to bring her back in now imo just to show she has some confidence in her and let her throw the pitches that Pickens wants to throw.

This ESPN announcer sounds like he should be calling a round of golf.
He certainly did an about-face just now when KY got a hit 🤷‍♂️

That part where you have to remember as fans and coaches she’s a freshman…have to take the good and bad. Confidence is harder than mechanics to get back if one goes.

We got a lot of runs but this game is being mis-managed by Karen. We have a chance to close this out early and she is bringing in pitchers that should be pitching against Kennesaw State.
