Some thoughts after being at game today: the win kept our momentum going with FL playing a doubleheader vs USF tomorrow, the big three need to pitch every inning from here forward, Great job as Payton credited with 5 strikeouts and the 6th batter she faced was struck out too IMO on a beautiful pitch on the corner but not called, I’m resigned to the fact that Katie is our RF and will give us a nice hit from time to time but please don’t ask the girl to bunt, the dilemma is DP, Jami batting .250 vs SEC and Amanda .091, I’d love to see Brylee get a shot like others have stated. Also great to see Dez walking, hopefully available later on.

Yeah at this point we're basically living with our bottom three hitters not really doing much. I still have no idea why Taylor has been a starter all season long.

Just got home awhile ago (300 mile round trip). We were never really in any danger. Simpson made it interesting. White other than the homer did alright. She gets behind and will groove one then seems to settle down. The problem is in the big games don’t have that luxury.Payton was popping the ball.

As noted earlier Brock just needs to swing. She is no slapper but has a nice swing make it simple for her. Because no one was there I sat behind the plate again. The biggest split grip was maybe an inch which is a change. Katie took some meatball pitches I’m sure she got an earful about that. One time before she got to the dugout.

I’ve always liked White and thought she had the stuff to do well in SEC, but I’ve grown more concerned. She seems similar, although not as severe, to Callie Turner. Like you said, she gets behind, and other times it seems she loses focuses, and then her control. Not sure how much of it truly is mental/how much Megan could help.

I couldn’t see really on kik to know if she came off or not. But Karen was hot saying it lto their face and across the diamond, Got a warning I think. Stupid music at the ballpark put she was giving to the home plate ump but couldn’t hear it all for the music. Best entertainment of the day!

Agree! What makes Jami a good option is swinging away! If we are going to use a slapper, let’s look at Brylee. Katie is batting only .133 vs SEC but seems to have a few big hits sprinkled in and has hit the ball hard a few times but not rewarded. But she does K a lot and cannot bunt.

If it was not in the contract like someone stated then it’s a moot point. But I saw the one ump point up to where there is usually a camera along the 3rd base line. There wasn’t today. Then Karen pointed to CF and the first baseline as if to say, “well, we’ve got 2 cameras to look at” But she did get a piece of all three umps LOL

Karen told me after the game that the umpires ruled she waited too long to ask for a review. The rules allow a head coach 30 seconds to confer with the player and staff, but the umpires felt she waited too long. I don't have a timer, but my commercials are :30 and we weren't halfway through the first spot by the time that they were arguing about it.

Baseball team’s rpi dropped from 23 to 43 after losing to tech. Listening some on the radio on the way home you would have thought they were the babe Ruth yankees they way they were hitting but they are last in their league and have been terrible. Hopefully they get it turned around but you have to take everyone serious.

Baseball team shouldn't be ranked, TBH. The fact that they were preseason #2 was completely laughable. They had to replace almost their entire hitting lineup.
