That used to be how they did it, I think. I remember it in 2006 we beat Arizona early in the day and we didn’t play the if-necessary game until several hours later

The NCAA is about the money and if neither of the if-necessary games is necessary, they can't sell tickets for that second session.

It would be much more fair to the student-athletes to do it that way, though.

Really? Interesting bc tv announcers said several times during the game Saturday that KW said all the pitchers were fine. Also KW never said AR was unavailable to start when questioned closely during the post game presser. Also doesn't explain not using PG.

Whatever happened during that embarrassing CF Saturday, the highly competitive PG must be like a caged lion by now. Expecting big things from her tonight. Surely she starts? After that, in a possible second game, who knows?

In post 13,371, is the postgame presser after the Oklahoma game. Around the 6:10 mark, Karen Weekly clearly says Ashley Rogers was going to be the backup if the game warranted it.

Don’t remember us talking about it much, but Destiny made a fantastic throw to G to get the OK ST player out at home. Great play from Katie to Destiny to G.

At this point in time, obviously, we have four very good teams remaining.

I think we definitely can. They don’t have near the power OU has, but they do everything right. Defense will need to be on because they will small ball you to death and hit doubles all day long.

I have though all year that we match well with the criminoles. Play solid defense and hit the damn ball that is down the middle and if at all possible send in any base runner who can find their way to the plate! Payton can go seven or more and worry about second game later. They are better coached but i think we have more power. After Boos hot spell late in the year she has not done shine hitting less that .250 in tourney

She is the best freshman i saw all year! Also cant believe the pitcher from Central ark. thats from Jackson tn going to the crimson turds as a transfer! I wonder if we every had any interest?

Boo’s slump happened when teams started to pitch around Kiki and Puni got moved up to the 2 spot and Kiki started seeing pitches again and Puni started to hit because she had Boo protecting her in the batting order but the problem is we have no one to protect Boo and she’s been getting pitched around since that move.
