This CWS for the LV's ended Saturday morning around 10am when the coaches conceded the loss to OU before arriving at the stadium

100% agree. Believe in your players!! A coaches job is to put her team in the best possible position to win. Not tank a game to avoid an opponent. Pretty shameful in my opinion

Yes, they did a great job of really locking her up early. Did she go to a pitching camp there or something?

I know an 8th grade pitcher from Nashville area at LSU softball camp this week.

Yes she was there like most kids in middle school when the college coaches we able to talk to and verbal kids. She held strong…she takes lessons in Knoxville

The argument is that getting your ** beat down in a run-rule by Oklahoma is what killed our confidence. The girls said as much in their post-game interviews yesterday. That's why so many of us were so mad.

I don’t understand why you guys are jumping on Karen. She coached a team that finished 4th in the Nation with a team that has 4 hitters hitting in the 200s. Our shortstop is average at her position and can not with consistency. One has to score runs to win in this tournament and we are not scoring runs. I am very proud of what this team has accomplished

If KP had the stuff she had tonight against sooners, or if ump hadn't blown a huge missed strike......

I firmly believe if KP could have got us 8-10 outs, and we were only down 1-0 or 2-0, Karen would have turned to AR.

Since it went off script early, she just made decision to go the other direction.

Yeah, I don't agree with it either. But, I do understand that it is a roll of dice that only a confident coach would make.

A season to remember. A lot of fun games to watch and Ashley will be definitely missed. When you play great teams your weaknesses are exposed. Hopefully after the season we had this will bring us a few top players next year and the future.

As Willie sings, “Turn out the lights the party’s over, they say that all good things must end” it’s been great watching this team and am very proud of them. With everybody back in the lineup, three good freshmen coming in, a few coming off surgery, maybe add a portal pitcher and our goal should be OKC next year! Hold your heads high and go LVs!

I haven't seen anyone say they aren't proud of what this team has accomplished. I think it's fair to criticize coaching when you were one win away from being inches away from a championship series. We had everything to play for and it feels like we conceded it without even giving it a fair shot. This team deserved better than that.

I've been watching the WS. This just sucks. This is not our best game.

Credit Florida State. They've gotten timely hits on each pitcher They’ve faced.

Congrats to the ladies for a good season. It's hard to win it all in anything when there are 100's of teams.

Time to hope the baseball Vols give us something to celebrate at least for a little while.
