Tennessee Softball 2023

new from NFHS:
Beginning next year, pitchers in high school softball will be allowed to disengage both feet from the playing surface if the pivot foot is not replanted prior to the delivery of the pitch.

Damn well I hope we get a pitcher that can help the staff. We desperately need it if we wanna get back to OKC
They have to be selective in that they have 3 coming in next year. Pickens would be back making potentially 4, if the 2024 class all stay pitchers. Don’t think Karen wants a staff of six, believe she likes 4-5.

If we don’t get Maxwell, Keeney, or Vawter season is over before it starts unfortunately!!! This could turn out to be the biggest pitching staff debacle under Weekly’s. Tennessee has always had pitching and not enough offense but now we’ll have the offense and not enough pitching. To be sitting there with scholarship money and can’t get pitchers Karen will need to be held accountable for not bringing in the pitchers to make this team compete. To bring zero pitchers in this years recruiting class and three pitchers in for next years class is about the stupidest thing and makes zero sense.

It’s not ideal but to say “season is over” is more than a little hyperbolic.

“Season is over” is an ill-advised thing to say.

“To be sitting there with scholarship money” is just flatly incorrect. The distribution of scholarship dollars is why you haven’t seen an instant yes from a pitcher at this point. Orsini would be back if they could find her some money.

Out of curiosity do you know where Orsini is looking?
