When those Leach girls hit away they have a lot of power. She wasn't slapping yesterday was in a normal batting stance. I hope that is the way both are going to play going forward.
Both have the ability to slap or swing away, just like Aubrey did. Gabby is not quite as fast, so her default is more swinging away, like her default is a corner outfield spot, rather than centerfield, where her sister filled in for KiKi and projects to play next year.

If Karen will let them play. They both can hit and catch well
Same with Brock last year neither is Aubrey they don’t have the speed. But, like Brock when she started swinging away was quite a gap hitter. I was quite vocal last year about her swinging away. The parents who sit in front of me were quick to say it wasn’t her choice to slap. They both have good swings really alannah has looked better all year but she has fallen out of favor for some reason.

I wouldn’t worry too much about RPI if we win the SEC. Last year we were only like #11 or #12 in RPI going into the NCAA tournament.

LSU always seems to have a high RPI somehow, and they usually get overseeded because of it. It’s the reason why Alabama was so incredibly overseeded last season.

Remember Karen used to mostly coach slappers years ago, and was quite good at it. I think at times she has been slow to adjust to slapping being a thing of the past. Even moreso now with the rules over being out of the box.

Looking at the pitchers coming in next year I found this. These are couple years old.
