Her Fury 02 team produced a few that went to MTSU. Local kid with a chance to play early. Her playing in CA is a move many kids from TN do for PGF Nationals or few tournaments.

Crazy how we are about to kick off another season. It only seems like a few weeks since the WCWS. A thank you ahead of time for all of you that provide great insight and opinions on the game of softball. I believe and hope it is an exciting season for the LVs and really, all of collegiate softball.

Ella Dodge is not listed on the 2024 softball roster, just looked at it.

That’s interesting because she was dressed out in uniform for media day, but it doesn’t seem like no other recruits were there.

Correct…it’ll be interesting to see how quickly she adjust and expectations should be limited.

She should be almost cleared…out for fall for her shoulder labrum surgery.

I think it’ll be rough at the start, but I think once the staff knows how to manage the 4 of them in terms of matchups and how long each can go before a change is needed we will be okay.

Does Ella Dodge pitch? If not teams to deep positionally for any playing time. Makes no sense to waste a year for just the spring. If she’s a pitcher she could get a lot of innings so that would be a smart move

That’s what I was thinking. She is listed as a P/UT online but i haven’t been able to find any film on her pitching. This could be a stretch, but I think the retirement if Donihoo opened up a spot for her to enroll early
