A Perfect Game followed by getting run-ruled, wow. Didn’t think I’d see us get run-ruled this year but it happens. Gotta get the bats going. Payton and Karlyn going to be fine but I’m hoping they’re not a two-person staff?? I thought some of these teams were sneaky good and pesky, gotta bring everything tomorrow vs OR ST and UCF. Can still salvage a great trip.

You posters who keep insisting that Gottshall is our ace need to re-evaluate. Pickens is clearly our ace. Any pitcher who throws two perfect games is clearly the ace. When Pickens is in her groove, she is untouchable. Weekly definitely needs to be pitching Karlyn twice against our SEC opponents.

Haven't seen the game--but pulling Pannell seems foolish. However, it is early in the season. I'm sure Weekly wants to give any player
who's capable of contributing or playing significantly this season some action. You have to do that. She's not going to sit Faw for the rest
of the season because she struggled in her first five or so games as a freshman. That would be unwise--and just ruin her confidence. You want
to play as many people as you think you can and still win games. Players can't improve if they're not playing.

Ok, I took a deep breath and I’m over the bad coaching. I’m preparing for an underachieving season. We have been very lucky with girls not leaving the last couple years but I’m calling it now we are losing girls into the portal this year. No way Brock, Panel, and Katie stay on a team that they play behind girls that have 1 or 0 hits for the season. Pitching has stuck out during our losers but look at the team hitting during those games. Faw, Puni and G played in those games. Just saying

I figured Jami would get more opportunities than she’s been given since she finished last year strong. It appears one OF spot is up for grabs and I would think she’d at least get a look. But we’ve had Katie, G, Sophia, Taylor, and both Leach’s in RF at some point or another but no Jamison?

PLAY BOO AT FIRST. We’ll be lucky if Boo doesn’t go into the portal she’s a competitor and wants to win. She made a sacrifice playing out of position to win but that’s not going to happen until Karen wakes up and quits player her favorites.

How many times did she say this fall this is the deepest lineup she has ever had and if you hit you play. Well we found out that was a lie, all lies. Hitters ain’t playing

Definitely thought she would have had more chances the way she ended last season. Her, Sarvis and Ahlin might be in the force out year.

I’m not doubting that she can be the ace, I was simply speaking from what we saw last year and who saved us down the stretch. I already can see Karlyn looks better this year and I hope she does become the true ace.

Karen you disrespect your players and they aren’t playing for you. Once you put an unproven Freshman on the pedestal and tell everyone how good she is. News flash Karen she has a ZERO batting average and leads the team in errors. Not the player you thought she was. Maybe you should’ve watch the girls you are recruiting play before they get to TN. Stacy Tamborra should be a used car salesman.G hit .190 at Arizona and 200 for TN and you think this years she’s going to be able to hit. Wrong it doesn’t work that way. Puni looks still hurt or need more time to recover but batting her I. The 4 spot is crazy when she’s just hitting.150.

Stacy has had some players over the years, including Faw. Don’t disagree on the comment before Faw has had a chance to showcase outside of fall and intersquad. Let other teams see and notice before a comment like that.

I was really surprised that she was ranked that high. No doubt if you watch her pitch that she has some wow moments, but definitely not the top pitcher that was in her class. I feel like in order for Tinsley to shine she needs another ace to complement her stuff

Are you saying start her twice each series? Good way to wear a pitcher out going into playoffs

The ace of a softball team typically pitches the first and last game of a three-game series. So yes. We have no alternative. Charli Orsini and Ryleigh White are no match for SEC teams.
