Tennessee Softball 2024

We only have four lefthanded batters on the entire team. The Leach twins, Brockenbrough, and Ahlin. Thought we had more so we'll be doing a lot of righty vs righty this season. Anyone that throws a leftie at us we should dominate.

Does anyone know where I can find info on who will stream/televise all the Lady Vols games this year? I am considering signing up for ESPN+ and wondered how many games would be on their stream.

I think the first four of the season are on ESPN plus. I think every home game will be streamed on the ESPN app. Some games are still in question as to who will televise or stream them. I found some of the games on the espn app schedule not showing any on the Tennessee schedule at this time.

Just thinking, wouldn't it be better to pitch Pickens in first game vs UT-Arlinton.?
Then Peyton first start be against Baylor starting that tough 3 game weekend series?

Yes, it would be best to pitch Payton as much as we can this year. She’s going to need to be a workhorse for this team to be successful

Four games just might be enough games to justify the cost to my wife.

Signed up Flo Sports was $32.84 tax and everything

Get it Kregman, don't forget to cancel. ✔

Interesting. Not ideal to have such a one-sided hitting lineup. I remember maybe six or so years ago about seven of our starters were left-handed hitters. We really had no right-hand hitting to speak of. This year will be the opposite.

I can imagine we’ll muddle through. Not sure we are doomed due to bat handedness of lineup. Thankfully, if it does become an issue, we’ve got options.

Beautae and Brockenborough we the only two that played much last year. This year I don't see any unless it is the freshmen twins.

I really think the righty hitters will give us more HR power than the heavy on the leftys which used to be our speed game. We shall see but the long ball is what we missed for so many years.

Handedness is not nearly as big of a deal in softball as it is baseball. UT only had two lefties last year and I don't recall it ever really posing an issue.
