Not sure where you're getting that, but ESPN released times and networks for the UT games at the Clearwater tournament, including 4 of 5 games on linear TV and the other on ESPN+. Tennessee and Florida State will close out the tournament with a matchup on ESPN at 8 on Feb 18th.

That schedule is often not updated with many games until 24 hours out from the event. I wouldn't rely on it as an authoritative list any further out than that. While some schools do go ahead a create links for all their events for the season up front, most don't do it until the week of and the linear TV games aren't added until 12 days out from the event.

Let me assure you again, regardless of what is or isn't in the system right now, the only games that definitely won't air on an ESPN platform (either linear TV, SECN+ or ESPN+) are the Mary Nutter games (Flo has the rights for one more year) and the Memphis game in Columbia, TN. UT-Arlington, Kennesaw St. and Howard are still TBD, but I'd be willing to be two of those three end up on ESPN+.

I'm told Baylor will be ESPN+ as part of the Big 12 package.

Karen’s press conference was interesting. If IF is G-Boo-Bella-Laura, then like she said, a new face at all 4 spots, 5 if you throw in Sophia at C. Boo at 2B a bit of a surprise but G is going to be on the field somewhere and she’s good at 1B and cat quick. She said Taylor’s bat has to be in the lineup, so for now I assume DP or OF. Of course things will get shuffled a bit once Zaida gets back. Like our depth and versatility. Will be interesting to watch this lineup develop.

Playing Boo at 2B lowkey sounds insane to me. But her putting G at 1B sounds to me like she thinks somebody has RF locked down, whether that's Taylor, one of the Leach twins or possibly Brockenbrough.

Agree: It's hard to imagine Gibson as a second sacker..

From the interview I thought the right field job was Taylor's. I was still a little surprised that G was going to be the first baseman. I actually thought she was the odd man out. I could see Boo at first, Mealer second, Faw ss and Pannell at third. West in right and Milloy in center. I actually thought the right field job might go to Leach. Of course Nugent catching. So bit of a surprise how it now seems to stand.

Makes no sense playing Boo at 2B when she’s an All-American at 1B. Why isn’t Mealer at 2B? Actually she out played Few at SS this fall so makes no sense she’s not at the 2B position sense she’s played middle her whole career. Playing girls out of position to make a few happy or because of politics always will come back to haunt you.

Gibson played a lot of second base two seasons ago and somewhat struggled at it. She doesn't have the lateral speed for second base. Sure hope we don't go that route again. As you stated, it makes no sense and I hope Karen has second thoughts about that. I sure hope Ralph is not the one behind that.
