That Washington Post stuff was based on the brother's tweet. Quinn says he's waiting on confirmation still. He expected A&M, too, for anyone not on Twitter.

I have a feeling out staff either believe Barton was going to A&M, or was feeding that to the Knoxville media for whatever reason. For VQ and Quinn to both think A&M, when nobody else in the country did, makes me think their sources were obviously the same.

Gotta give Martin credit, this was a HUGE get. Not only did he beat out the hometown team, but he was able to overcome the connection with A&M that Barton had, and friends he had at 'Cuse.

Makes me feel good about Lyle, when Martin has time, he usually gets his #1 guy. Stokes was his biggest target when he got to campus, then Hubbs, and he obviously went all in on Barton. Now, pull Lyle!!!

You have anything on this.

Haven't seen or heard anything, but ill check into it. Glad to see another center prospect...any one of hurt, haas and reed would be great.

Supposedly Reed is up to 7'1" fwiw
