Tennessee Transfer Portal Targets

UT hasn’t made official announcements on JP or somebody leaving. But they’re sitting at 14 scholarship players. Uros, JJJ, and ON don’t have firm plans that have been officially announced.

That is why it isn’t simple to understand. Internet know-it-alls aren’t the best sources of information.

ON has entered the portal. His plans are firm. He will not be a Vol next year. It’s also not hard to read the tea leaves that if any of Uros, JJJ, or Phillips planned to be back here this staff doesn’t over extend their offers and bring in Gainey, Knecht, and Ledlum. It’s not that hard to put 2 + 2 together.

TGO wants to die on another strange hill for some reason

I don't know anything ... but I would not put too many names in stone at this moment ...
Santi is back!
BJ and DJ have roles and/or NIL ... they will be back.
Ledlum and Gainey are coming ...
The ??? that I see are JJJ (likely gone) and Phillips (maybe gone) and Knecht (likely coming).
There appears to be some flexibility that number crunchers are missing. :^)

It’s not a strange hill at all to say that the roster hasn’t been set. There are 14 ATM.

A day before Kiffin took the USC job nobody in their wildest dreams was expecting him to not coach TN’s 2010 football team.

Tea leaves? That’s what you are citing as to why there shouldn’t be confusion for TN fans about the final 2023-24 roster?

Knecht rumor getting louder. If he jumps in the boat, I’d take that as phillips getting positive feedback from the draft prep process.
I just think Knecht is a better player than Phillips. Phillips averaged 4.7 pts per game and was a great defender but I expect a lot more from Knecht.

Where do you see flexibility? Lol

You said ON doesn’t have firm plans. He does. He won’t be a Vol. That’s firm. The rest it’s pretty clear to see Uros won’t be back and never had a spot to be back. Phillips is the only spot I could see as being in question, the rest are foregone conclusions.

8.3 and if they had switched spots JP definitely could have had 20 a game for that team. We’ll see if Knecht can bring that production and translate it to the hardest conference in America.

Just saw where Oregon has added their second SF of the day with Arizona State transfer Devon Cambridge. Seems like good news for us.

If ON has his plan finalized for 2023-24, please let us know what it is.

He’s firmly (currently) in the portal. That’s all. That doesn’t even mean that he can’t return to TN.

And many have tea leaves indicating that the Phillips spot being open for someone else is a foregone conclusion. Yet you have it in question.

I can assure he can’t return. Nobody on campus, and hardly nobody in here want him back.

When you enter the portal, you've effectively surrendered your scholarship, so, considering we won't have room, he can't return to TN. I mean, unless he's okay being a walk-on.

Please don’t be obtuse. It doesn’t matter what his non-Tennessee plans are when concerning the topic on hand, Tennessee’s roster crunch. It is quite clearly obvious that his plans in regards to Tennessee are firm. His career at Tennessee is over. You cannot possibly believe it’s not.

Question, when/what will you consider official/finalized? What if Uros never “announces” anything, will you not consider it official until the team photo is taken?

We don’t have room for Ludlum right now either. He’s #14. Knecht is #15. Clear as mud.

I explained WHY THE HEAD COUNT IS CONFUSING.
