Tennessee Transfer Portal Targets

That is fair, but 38% did come on roughly ⅓ the number of attempts, as well, compared to his SO year. So the larger sample size is probably more indicative of his actual ability. Not a knock on the guy, but with only two spots, he doesn't fit what we need with two spots, and if a third came available, I can't say I would just prefer to have Santi back if that were an option. Carter fits some needs, but not our biggest ones, IMO.
On the 3pt shooting idk enough you UIC, his attempts per game doubling would suggest he likely became a focal point and had to force some shots which could’ve lowered that percentage idk. 3.2 attempts a game and 38% id a solid number, that would make him our 2nd best 3pt shooter to just Vescovi.

Regardless I’m with you on the 2 spots, PG/CG and a post should be those 2, if a 3rd spot is available (assuming no Santi) it makes some more sense.

Yeah I'm sure the first time head coach who had a debacle of a season had nothing to do with it....... I'm sure Davis managed the team / locker room thru adversity just fine.

Even if you take out the attitude issues, nothing on his stat line jumps out as a take to me. 37% from the field, and 29% from three. Basically, a 2:2 assist to turnover.

I also watched him play fairly often this season. Not someone I’d want at UT. Frankly, i’d be shocked if we even show a slight interest.

Absolutely not, and this thread is about UT targets as the title says.
Why the hell not ? Were we not recruiting him hard, coming out of high school and in his final 4 or whatever ? He balled out in last year's NCAA Tournament and we need a PG, bad. Idk, what happened this year with UNC, because I only saw 'em play like twice. But, I know Love has game and we have some kind of relationship with him. I would rather have him than any of the guards you listed. But, I guess that's why we suck in the portal

Tennessee & Caleb Love were never serious in his recruitment, he was all UNC when they offered…he’s a locker room cancer and a chucker on the offensive end, lay of the weed man.

Don't be a d!ck, oh yeah, you can't help yourself. So we had no relationship with him is what you are telling me, before UNC offered ? I don't believe that, but you know it all. You don't think Love will play in the NBA ? I do and I guarantee, wherever Love goes, he has a better season than those scrub guards you listed.

He may have a better season, but that doesn’t mean he is making his team better. This is the exact same scenario as everyone going nuts over Krissa last week. Both would be horrible fits and should stay as far away as possible, regardless of the obvious talents they possess.

Yea, the kids likes to shoot the ball. Had a couple of big NCAA games last year and helped lead UNC to the championship game. But he had a TERRIBLE shooting game against Kansas and arguably cost the Heels the title. I don't think was very consistent this year---up and down. Doesn't seem like a fit for Barnes or us.

I agree with Krissa, but we had no relationship with him and he is a punk. We have a relationship with Love and I haven't seen or heard of him acting like Krissa does on the court. But whatever

I agree, I don’t think Love would hurt us on the court in the sense that KK would. He has developed a bad rep in the locker room though and has a tendency to self destruct a bit late in games - the killer mindset but not the results. I know UNC fans were fed up with it throughout the season. Also doubt he would want to play off ball as much as he would have to here. If all this could be reigned in a bit, I think he could be excellent for us, I just doubt CRB or anyone else’s ability to do it lol
