He’s got a pretty interesting game log. Several high minute games to start the year, then several in the middle of the year that were close to single digits. Wonder if there was an injury there. Then, a lot of high minute games again to finish the year. Stats look good to me when he was ostensibly playing a full game.Keyon Menifield Washington PG 6’1” 150lbs

2 if all 4 seniors with a COVID year leave and nobody on the current roster leaves.
Need somebody that can play some PG and hit open 3s and possibly a low post/5. If BJ Edwards could develop significantly over the off season then another PG isn’t as critical. Going to need a 3-point shooter no matter what - but they could be a wing/shooting guard if BJE could become a reliable PG.
Do Barnes and his staff potentially take a chance on Wheeler who just left Kentucky as a possible point guard option?
I said we should pursue Love because we had a relationship with him coming out of high school. I was told, "No". I said something like, "why not, he's a baller and we have a relationship, kick the tires". Then I was told something like, "Lmao, smoke some more weed". I got mad, made a comment. Then we did kick the tires, so that's what it is referring to, if all that made senseWhat is this referring to?

I'm confident you know this ....but....Rick will NOT take a person like you described above. He simply won't do it. And for that I'm most grateful too! While I'm all for the portal and heaven knows we need a lot of help, I just don't think Love is worth the risk. Know this will come across as an old guy thing, but the culture has been established. Just can't take a guy who could be the pill that poisons the well. The SEC is tough enough without having to constantly be butting heads with a guy that might be the QB of your team. From what I've seen, there are others who are productive and far less risky. I might be singing a different tune if he's at a new place, fitting in and lighting it up, but I just can't see this guy at UT. Oil/water for sure.
