I personally think Springer will fall from where he was projected throughout the season. I think some of his weaknesses have been exposed. I don't think he would end up being a Top 20 pick. But no way is he a late 2nd round pick. LMAO. This statement is beyond laughable. You can't be serious.Hard for me to imagine Springer jumping to the NBA when the Developmental league at 7 grand a year and a trip to Turkey to play European Ball is his future. I bet he gets more in legal perks at UT than that. He projects at best as a late 2nd round pick. Everybody has not yet decided and when the players hit the draft he probably projects as undrafted. Johnson is a top 15 pick and his stock is only going up
I think that is the common belief, and could possibly be as many as 8 available spots if Walker chooses to move on. I’d rather keep him, personally, and see if he can get his act together, but that decision seems to be mostly upon him. I don’t think Tennessee is going to look to push him out the door.Rob Lewis said he expects probably 2 commits (I’m guessing that’s Tamba & BHH) and 2-3 transfers...add in Chandler & Mashack and that’s 6-7 new faces. 3 seniors, Johnson and Springer to the NBA that makes 5 scholarships, so looking at 1-2 transfers out according to that.

I might swap Battle for Grady, but agree with your premise. It's going to be a wild next 2-3 months. That's for sure.
Hoping we can swing and land on some of these big transfers. "Realistic, but dream" scenario would be Tamba, BHH, Kessler, Powell, and the kid from Davidson. That kind of fills all of your needs there. Elite guards. Elite biig men. Project that could develop into something in 2-3 years. And a perimeter threat. Sign me up. Let's do it.
Hope you are right. James has a lot to like. Good kid who is skilled in many areas, coachable, and plays defense. BUT that aside I really question his demeanor, and not his skill. He is afraid of contact despite having an NBA body, misses point blank layups and disappears far to often on the offensive end.[/QUOTE
I agree. A lot of JJJs problems are between the ears. He is timid and seems to play tight to the point that his liabilities on offense cancel out the other good he does. In those few moments that he was on offensively the whole team was at a different level.
Me after the Oregon State game: why do I root for these losers? It's going to be a wild next 2-3 months. That's for sure.

I’m of the understanding that Pember is merely a formality, at this point. Unless I’m operating on bad info, I think he’s almost certainly gone. Gaines is the next most likely, IMO. Just no room for him with his absolute absence of offensive ability.I’m a bit conflicted on who may leave...Gaines might make the most sense of anyone as he has no real ties and could be GSU wants him. Pember loves it here and has plenty of friends at UT and the area, he’s also friends with Tamba and Edwards as well as BHH so he may not want to look around. Plavsic also seems to love it here and being closer to his host family in Chattanooga area, he’s also already transferred so not sure he wants to look around. That seemingly leaves Walker...so maybe it is a case that only 1 guy transfers, will be interesting.
So that would mean 4 transfers? Seems a bit high, I was thinking 2-3 but who knows.
ahh yea your right, thought I was missing someone. Would actually only be 2 transfers which seems right. Keon, Jaden, fulky, Pons, Anosike plus 2 transfers would be 7 spots right? No it means 2-3 transfers. Pons and Fulky are graduating. Springer and Johnson are leaving. That’s 4-spots. So, expect 3 transfers. My guess is Gaines, Pember, and Walker are all gone if 7 really is the number.
It’s unfortunate if Walker is another Burns. I would have liked to see what he could do here.
This should be it. If the number really is seven then I think the scenario that is ideal (while still realistic) is that the seven comes from Fulk, Pons, Anosike, the two one and does, Pember and Gaines. And hopefully Fulk and Anosike (why not) stick around still (which doesnt affect the scholarship numbers)ahh yea your right, thought I was missing someone.
