Again, when you commit offers don’t come in basketball, you’re smarter than that so don’t act dumb. He’ll get picked up by a D1 if he transfers, probably having multiple options.

Why would Pinson leave Mizzou as one of their best players just to transfer to George Mason where it is even less likely he will win anything with the time he has left? Seems odd.

I have no idea, that's just my guess considering English's Mizzou ties

In my opinion no shot he goes to George Mason I would love to have him actually. He will definitely go to another power 5 school for sure but he is probably transferring because Mizzou was all seniors and they are all leaving now

Apparently Martin and Pinson argued down the stretch of the season and he only played 4 minutes in the second half vs Oklahoma Saturday but he averaged 14/2/2 this year

I love the way Gaines plays. I could see how you could recruit a kid like that and expect him to physically mature. But that’s a funny business. Hard to predict. You don’t study bloodlines and whatnot.

English might only be at GMU one year. Mizzou will probably be terrible next year and the clause in Cuonzo’s contract that banned Mizzou from firing him without cause will expire. A lot of their fans want English to succeed Cuonzo

It does thats over half the roster. Also mentioned Gonzaga as a pain in the ass in the Kessler deal. It will be interesting to see what the fall back option would be.

I've been a big fan of his from the beginning, but it doesn't look like he is going to develop into good player here, for a variety of reasons. I wish he would stay, because I would be rooting for him to have a breakout season, but for his sake he would probably be smart to move on to a lower level.

So no players on other rosters had limited offers? We beat out a P5 for Kent...Pember is probably your only example. Gaines was taken super early in the process which in basketball keeps teams from offering, plavsic we literally took from a P5.

All Power 5s have a project or two on their roster. Our problem is we have half a roster of them.

The upcoming search to replace English is probably going to be the biggest one of Barnes's Tennessee tenure.

Seems like a stretch, we were successful prior to English and appear to be in shape to continue that
