Tennessee vs Iowa by position

Our RBs are good. Even with the worst OC in CFB history our ground game was dominant at times
The whole Iowa team only rushed for like 1500 yards the whole year. Our RB1 went for over 1K and the back that will line up Monday was our RB3 went for just under 500. As a team we rushed for almost 2500 yards. So we have a pretty dominant at times ground game. Just saying!

No way. Nico we have no idea. Sampson absolutely better than Leshon Williams, Kaleb Johnson 😂 yeah right
Kaleb Johnson:
110 carries - 429 yards - 3.9 YPR - 3 TD
3 catches - 25 yards - 0 TD

Dylan Sampson:
86 carries - 471 yards - 5.5 YPR - 7 TD
17 catches - 175 yards 1 TD

Yes, Sampson is better than Johnson.

Dominant? You averaged 3.9 YPR and ran for 1500 yards as a team. We ran for 2400 and avg 5.6 YPR, against significantly better (and more of them) defenses than Iowa faced. Y’all rushed for 200+ two times, we did it 7 times. What is your definition of dominant?

The crap we saw with Jeremy Pruitt, Jarrett Guarantano, Chris Weinke, and Will Friend looks like the 99 Rams compared to Iowa's offense.

I have legitimate concerns about our OL against Iowa but it's laughable to think Iowa is in the same stratosphere as any team offensively...

If you just compare talent and experience by position group here is how I see it:

QB- Deacon Hill has more experience but played poorly on the whole. Nico more talent but very little experience. PUSH

RB- Iowa has 3 experienced backs and UT is down their top 2. IOWA

WR- Besides former top 100 recruit Kaleb Brown, the hawks lack here obviously. Even in a down year for your standards you guys have a big advantage here. UT

TE- Even with two NFL players out due to injury this isn’t close. IOWA

OL- Iowa has been very inconsistent up front but has had games where they dominate on the ground. UT is beat up and down a lot of guys. PUSH

DL- UT lost Baron, but has had a better pass rush than the Hawks this year. Iowa is deeper and better against the run. Without Baron it’s IOWA.

LB- two all Americans and a 2nd team all B1G player for the hawks IOWA.

DB- Lol. IOWA

Special teams- 2023 All American punter and 2022 all American kicker IOWA

I don’t think UT is better anywhere besides receiver.
Push my a$$.

Haha yeah so impressive that you ran the ball on ****ing Austin Peay, UTSA, Virginia, UConn and Vandy. 😂😂

But I guess you did beat powerhouses like 5-7 South Carolina, 7-5 Kentucky and 7-5 A&M.

What a brutal SEC schedule, best 8-4 team ever 😂😂😂

The only place your team is better is DB. This is absolutely stupid, we beat your bum squad by at least two touchdowns.

I’d say…

offense-Tennessee
Defense (lol)-Iowa
Coaching-Tennessee
Cheerleaders-Tennessee
Accents (lol)-Tennessee
Weather-Tennessee
Giants whitetail bucks-IOWA

Oh what were we talking again? That’s right…Tennessee by a margin of 35-17.

Time will tell but I really believe Nico in this offensive system is going to be NASTY! It’s an immediate upgrade over Milton and even Milton was much better than Hill.

We're going to destroy your team, again. Make sure you come back after or I'll just come to your site Turkey Leg.

They sure do talk a lot of **** on their forum. This game doesn't really get me excited after such a disappointing season. I only want to see what we've got in Nico.

Iowa’s Total offense was only 700 yards more than Tennessee’s rushing offense with Iowa playing an extra game.
Tennessee had only 172 fewer rushing yards in 8 SEC games than Iowa’s total rushing yards in 13 games.

LOL what? You really have to lay off the Kool Aid.

I believe Iowa fans were claiming victory before the game back in 2015? when we boat raced them. I can't wait until that slow ass Iowa offense gets to see our defense up close and personal! The last time we played, the commentators went on and on about seeing the difference between SEC speed and Iowa. Hell, if we put up 21 points, we win! LOL

This game is big, IMO. We have to win and keep putting on momentum. Recruiting can't take a hit & an L would definitely set us back. I wish we had our transfers here and ready to play LOL. I can't wait to see what McCoy can do in the defensive backfield and Brazzell could be a Biletnikoff finalist next year.

Punt return advantage Tenn and if like against Michigan that great punter out kick coverage Dee Williams will get a big return.

This OP thinks an Iowa schedule is tougher than a UT/SEC schedule? Have you seen some of the teams Iowa has played? Oh and the two teams you play that had close to SEC talent in PSU and Michigan you get waxed 31-0 and 26-0 respectively and have 230 yards total offense…in two games?!

Iowa will lose. Plain and simple, even without our entire secondary, QB, or top two RB’s, UT wins
