Uncalled for. You make Vols fans look bad. Please post a picture of yourself so that we can take potshots at you.
Really don't give a crap what the viking thinks......pull for Baylor if you feel like that....Griner is ugly....fact...and go vols.
Winning by nine points in a game that we were up at half time and only down by 4 with 1:35 to play is not whipping our asses. The only way the word ass fits into this conversation, is the fact that you are talking out of yours.
I don't expect you to care. People that post things like you posted rarely care about others.
The problem is that I am sharing this game with my girlfriend, who is not much of a sports fan and knows very little about American women's college bball. But over the past two seasons, she has gotten rather interested in the game because of my passion for it. She is asking about it and I am glad to share it with her. But 15 minutes ago, she read the comment you posted about the "ugly female" and now she is just completely turned off by the thought of associating herself with such a fan base. In her eyes, your comment represents everything that is wrong with sports. It is a male-dominated realm and those males are too often of the uneducated, immature breed. I have worked to convince her that there are plenty of intelligent, mature men and women who follow the game, but when you post that kind of crap and then others tell me to settle down for criticizing you for it, she sees clearly (as do I) that these boards are dominated by immature rednecks who just don't understand how their statements and attitudes affect other people. I see it too often on Volnation and it has made me question my willingness to remain a fan.
As far as Britney Griner or any other player in the women's game is concerned, I may root against their teams when they play, but I will always support them as individuals and admire what they have accomplished. They make the game great, even if they play for the other team. Many of them have overcome adversity to reach their goals and when jerks sitting at computers post on public forums how ugly they are, that is just pathetic. It does NOT add value to the experience for me as a fan and certainly not for the players. Show me one person whose experience was improved by such offensive comments and I will show you someone who just doesn't get it.
